Popular Post Gurn
What say you? Was that a suspendable or fineable hit on Bo? I'm leaning to a fine, depending on Montour's history. 2

Ghostsof1915
The team needs to defensively work better as a unit in their own zone. Work in progress. Will give fans grey hairs, but good for the players, a character building win.

Popular Post dKs89
Justice is served. I don't mind most of the penalties against the Canucks, it's the obvious looking of the other way when the Sabres commit similar infractions. Absolutely horrible. Yet again another missed headshot on our Captain. A complete lack of respect from the referees. As for the game, it was an adventure. They dominated the first, the forecheck was unstoppable. But alas the Canucks thing this season is to give up their leads. It's a very frustrating trend. No doubt a bunch of different factors contributing to it. Regardless, they have to get better. We know they can do it, wasn't much of it happening in October. Goaltending hasn't been as good but a lot of that can be attributed to the team not playing sound defensively. As much as certain posters like to think I'm nothing but negative, I just don't feel the need to post the positives in an ocean of posts saying those thing. The good thing about blowing leads, is that they're playing well enough to get those leads more often that they're not. And without a doubt, that's very promising for this team. They're extremely capable offensively. Boeser picks up 2 assists in a game where he couldn't get going at all. He hasn't been at his best, not even close really but he still finds a way to contribute. That's what great players do. Don't need to talk about Miller, his performance and effort game in game out speaks for itself. 1 1
Vermette9
Of course I say move leivo to the 4th line and he lights it up ! Cant deny the boy is heating up. The team HAS to play more aggressive with the lead, sitting back is obviously not working. Rous what a frigging beauty !! JT Miller nuff said. Whooooooo
Seinfeld
Boeser with 2 secondary assists, but was invisible the whole game. It's going to be impossible to convince people that he's playing poorly when they'll just say "But look at his PointzZZzzZz!!".

Probably less of a gamble when we find out the due diligence Benning very likely went through in scouting the guy.

Popular Post DeNiro
I think everyone can see the importance of Edler to this team. Our pk is just not the same. We’re getting pinned in our end way too much as well. 3 1

They seemed like they wanted to miss the one on Virtanen in the OT, well until Eichel put the puck in the net. At that point, they had no choice but to cal lit. Overall, poorly ref'd game. But we won so all's good. the league should actually look at the player who hit Horvat, but they won't
