But it would take much more than Tanev, the Leaves would probably want a now and a later piece, my guess would be Tanev + Podkolzin. For me thats a non-starter. I'd do Tanev and Lind tho. If we could move Baer and/or Schaller I would easily do Nylander for Tanev straight up. I'd give Toronto a Christmas card and a Easter basket. He has 23 points (11 goals) in 33 games. Only 5 of which on the PP. Slap him on our PP and he could be closer to point per game. He'd be a huge shot in the arm for our second line that has one true top 6 player on it. Nylander only has 3 more points than Tanner Pearson, it's not like he's lighting it up. For $7 million there are much better options out there. But cap wise Kapanen is the much better fit.
