Popular Post ItTakesAnArmy
A temp thread I am sure but the last PGT is getting old. Could be; Not Going to put much effort into this as it will probably be eliminated Markstrom, will he go tonight too? Any injuries? Will the Nux face another backup goalie? I could care less what a GDT looks like, its just to discuss about the game. Guess the people who usually make them are hungover or still sleeping after some drinks haha 1

Yes it is but it is likely to be shut down when the real one goes up until then it was just here for new comments about today's game Okay Markstrom kept the game close again last night IMO some of the Canuck players are starting to show some frustration. Rumours are starting to circulate. Sven wants out and the team has allowed his agent to try to set up a trade, his agent and not Benning. Stecher name has alos been mentioned in the want a trade stuff but i don't know how much of that is accurate but his is one that looks frusetrated. Jake's seems to have slowed down a bit, could be an aliment or nothing at all, I think it is nothing. The pressure of being the Captain looks to be affecting Horvat's game, especially under the looking glass at home. Markstrom looked a little tired a couple of times last game. Everyone knows he cannot play out the season and he has shown blemishes if played too many in a row. Vegas plays a heavy game now that they beefed up and they a bevy of proven NHL stars on the team. This is a tough litmus test for the Canucks The Canucks area also getting close to every game becoming a playoff game just for a wild card spot, their great start has allowed them to keep close now but they need to do more than play .500 hockey.
10pavelbure96
The slow starts are worrisome but when was the last time we really got blown out. These losses lately have been tight games that can go either way, our star players just need to bury these chances. I think with some hopeful puck luck we can get a string of wins together. We are better than the standings show lately. Hopefully DiPietro gets the nod, he deserves a start to redeem last years game where he was thrown to the wolves. Hes now had a week to practice with the team. Go Mikey, Go Canucks Go!

Canucks want to try make the playoffs, so they will be riding Markstrom again. No need to play Mikey, hopefully demko isn't out long so Mikey can get back to helping Utica and playing regularly. Green has played marky back to back when demko was healthy so be quite odd to now insert the young MIkey into the net against a team we are competing with that is in our division also. Can't start to pick things up part way thru a game and expect to be a playoff team at the end of the year, its the NHL not the AHL or some EURO league. Joking, it has always been difficult to coach a team full of millionaires guaranteed to play that is why player play so good in contract years. GM's even have to give players leeway and let them sit and watch if they don't put out. Speeches only work so many times,
Ossi Vaananen
Gotta get Hughesy under 27 mins. Going to be tough for Marky in B2B as well. Plus the knights usually have our number. I do think our scoring will show up though, we're never dry for too long. 3

NFL has it right, perform well and get paid. Play like Loser#21 and you get league minimum or just flat out cut so you an join a different team or go to Sweden where 0 hits matter haha!
Popular Post Crabcakes
Marky commented about the team coming out slow in the first. San Jose is a team who has always come out guns a blazing in the first at home. It used to be about surviving the first 10 minutes. I think they played ok. Dell had a solid game. But bigger picture, as the competition ramps up, our top lines, who are mostly very young are going to have to find a way to continue producing. Petey, Boeser, Hughes, and Horvat to a lesser degree are getting checked more closely and have less time and space. It doesn't help that Ferland is out because Benning was counting on the 2nd line having more impact. Until this happens, we're going to see the top line facing the best defenders and struggling to produce especially on the road. Incidentally, around 08, 09 the previous core had the same problem. This was before Kesler took his game to the elite level. Also at that time when AV was in danger of losing his job.
