The last time the Canucks won a playoff series, my 5 year old son was a young calf grazing in a pasture.

Ultimately the calf grew up, I ate him, and the protein from it became the sperm that created my boy.

The last time the Canucks won a playoff series, Conan the Barbarian, Footloose, and The Thing were forgettably rebooted and you couldn't go anywhere without hearing Rolling in the Deep and that Pitbull/Ne-Yo song.

The off topic forum was a decent place to have a discussion, not an echo chamber where 2 or 3 people's opinion dominates because of dozens of agreeable yes men with no opinion at all.

Here's a good one (and painful one):

The last time the Canucks won a playoff series the CDN dollar was worth MORE than the US dollar.

Ah, the good old days.......

I had come up from Texas to spend the week with my mom.  She had breast and lung cancer, and I got to enjoy the time doing something we loved. After the game, I remember going outside to take the trash out and the north side of Nanaimo was quite raucous.
