Well that's just utter nonsense because again, the quote was:

" Just embarrassing," Kings defenseman Drew Doughty said. "A team like that should not be beating a team like ours 8-2, there's absolutely no way."

Kinda hard to paraphrase your way out of that one my dawg

I wont deny feasting on the qoute for the lewls... but like any competitive game, passion for winning can get twisted into poor sportsmanship.

Enjoy it, because there will be a day our team will call out a team "like that".

Good call tonight to start Marky. He was sharp when the team was half asleep coming off the break. Hopefully it's a wake-up call for tomorrow and assuming Demko will be starting to give him more support. That Miller trade continues to be a great acquisition nearly 40 games into the season.

Lost my voice yelling all game.  Too many fans were sleepy just like nux, too damn quiet.

Marky stole the game.  Can't perform like that tomorrow vs flames and expect to win.  Huge 4 pt game to get back in top 3 of div.

Hope Demko is ready.  Can't over tax Marky and risk an injury.

And @Alfliveswants to trade for him.

Doughty is getting old but back in the day I would of loved to have him.

Time to properly invest in our young guys.

No more older signings (or trades), no offence to Benning

These next couple of years our younger guys have to be our main focus, and we need to have roster spots available for them. Hoglander, Pod, Woo, Juolevi, Lockwood, Lind, etc

He’s still an elite defender.

He is/was elite on both sides of the puck.

Not many of those around.

Are you seriously insinuating you'd entertain the idea of that a**hole playing for the Canucks?

Lame

True but he is now 30, and will more than likely demand a big contract. Lot of guys prime usually ends in their early 30’s.

If if we had the money I would have definitely went after him.

Rather invest time and money into Hughes now.

I’m impressed, or happy, but it was LA.

The Canucks are still right there with the worst teams in the league, spotting them 50 shots, etc.

I don’t care how they win, just that they do, but I’m not going to be bouncing up and down when they beat a terrible team like LA, 3-2, while surrendering shots like that.

There has been a trend of surrendering an unreasonable amount of shots here for quite a while now. I felt like it was just a matter of time before they gave up a 50 game.

A few more 40+ shot games and this place will be sporting pitchforks once they figure out what it all means. You know it’s coming.

Lastly, Benning should buy Marky anotherAudi. We all know why.

Make that a Ferrari....

True.... We are far from finished article yet, and we should not be giving up 50 shots to Kings, but I flipping love beating them, as we've been their door mat for quite a few years now.

But yes the team need to tighten up defensively, as it could turn ugly...

Demko plays in Calgary Sunday.  If Green goes with Marky after tonight’s game, I’d fire the guy immediately.

Is Demko even back? If he is I kind of agree that Jacob should get the next game off. He stopped a lot of shots.

Sundstrom is so underrated by a lot of fans.
