[Trade] Sabres trade Marco Scandella to Canadiens for 2020 4th-round pick

Recommended Posts

Been saying this for a couple yrs..it's HIGH time they commit to a proper foundation. Sell the old stars

Price to Cowtown. Retain a couple mill for that horrendous contract.

Weber to EDM or Winterpeg. Retain 1 mill, if it'll enhance return.

Stop serving two masters. Commit to the19-27 yr old range(emphasis on the younger side)

Remember when someone said Montreal should target bogosian?

And I took off my mink gloves and said if anything the canadians don't need another bigger rhd they need a leftie?

Good times

Btw i have picked the winning numbers for tomorrow's 70million lotto max, so save your monies.

You don't win cups with a team full of 19-27 y.o.

There’s a lot of Norris talk around Weber this season.  They aren’t going to move him. And if they did they wouldn’t need to retain.

Perfect time to flip. Subban is now exposed as a self-PR disaster. To turn him into 5 yrs of Weber leadership, THEN a nice young pkg is mighty smart recycling.

The only part of this trade that confuses me is Montreal trading for a guy who's 6'3

Not sure he's short enough to be a fit long-term in Montreal

Petry 6’3”

Weber 6’4

Danault 6’1”

Armia 6’4

Chairot 6’3”

Kotkaniemi 6’2”

Poehling 6’2”

Fleury 6’1”

Kulak 6’2”

yes.  They have some smaller players. But they’re hardly a team of smurfs

They're a bit bigger now, but they've had a reputation for being on the smaller side for a while, hence the joke

Most of those guys play really soft. Their toughest player is still Gallagher to this day.

You’re clearly not watching them if you think that. Weber soft?  Chariot has been playing the body really effectively most of the year. Fleury already has a reputation for delivering monster checks and he’s just barely begun his career. Also. Domi plays just as tough as Gallagher. If not more so.   I could also add in Nate Thompson.  He’s 6’0 and plays tough.
