I know a lot of work goes into these but if half the stuff doesn't load it's kind of pointless. 95% when I log in I'm on my phone and have to wait five minutes for the thread to open because the OP has so much media attached to it which can be a pain - and is also a big reason you won't see me on the GDT much during the game. I prefer to watch it and can't multi-task (tried it doesn't work ha ha - in between periods works). Love reading the threads and the humour added definitely makes it more enjoyable - plus I couldn't do what the OP does without some help from my teenage kids ha ha so never bothered trying one. Some do seem a little overboard though and I have to wonder if ego and rep points are part of the motivation to make these things given recently someone did one and then thanked the CDC for "winning the day " (have to admit I had no clue what was meant by they until I looked at a profile and I believe the site tracks that sort of thing). Popularity contests aren't my thing - but I'm fine with anyone who needs that sort of ego boost and is using this as a platform - it makes for a well done thread and also appreciate it despite the wait time. This game could easily come down to bottom 6 forward in which TBL has the slight lead (Mostly due to Canucks current injuries) or it could be one goaltender out plays the other. Or it could be one teams best players out producing the other teams best players. There are so many scenarios how this game could go. I'm sure of one thing it will be an intersting one. If you would have said at the beginning of the season that the Canucks would be very similar statistically to the pres trophy defending lightning at the half way point, you would prob be laughed out of town and called a homer. He works well with protecting Bo's and Pearson's heavy forecheck game so it doesn't back fire coming the other way. Last time we played the Bolts in Vancouver last year, he was going after Petey and cheap shotted Stetcher. That was where I lost respect for local BC boy Cooper after he fist pumped Martel for taking Stetcher out of the game.
