Hoping someone can come up with a video or gif of Miller’s pass up of the emptiest net in history. Wanna see how egregious that pass was.

Typical game in Winnipeg regarding two things.
1: Horrific start plagues this team in this building.

2: Most games in this building have the feeling of “one of those games” where absolutely nothing goes your way.

The difference however despite those two factors is the Canucks are always dominated not only in the score but also play in Winnipeg. Aside from the first few minutes in the first and second period, it was absolute domination by the Canucks.

Unbelievably frustrating the complete lack of bounces going our way, and also lack of finish.

It’s incomprehensible how despite the context of the overall season, and recent runs of play how yet again the start of this game was the same old script that every game in Winnipeg is. Just an avalanche of non stop chances, goals against and mistakes every single time in the first several minutes. Jets were 0-5-1 and struggling to score in their previous six home games and it just doesn’t matter. It just didn’t matter that their D corps at its current state is one of the worst in the league. This team was absolutely ripe for the taking, especially with their D in the state it is, and even still it showed throughout the game. But they came out looking incredibly slow and not ready. 4 scoring chances that ended up with 2 pucks behind Marky in the first 1:55 of the game.

Just one single time, just ONCE can this team actually start a game well in Winnipeg.

Hellebuyck was Luongo'd on the ice with a 2/3 of the net wide open, and he passes back. Didn't even seem to look at the net

Vancouver hits in the game.........12  !   A team total of 12.  In Ottawa's game this evening Brady Tkachuk had 6 hits by himself - half the entire Canucks team hits.  Where were you Jake, Roussell, Miller, Fantenberg, Horvat, Gaudette ?  Yes, they had opportunities but they need to take advantage of the opportunity to HIT.

Didn't start well but I think it ended up as a good road trip, all things considered. Despite the record. 40 shots tonight and multiple grade A chances. Maybe Marky could have made a another save, but most were tough shots or screened.  Should not be playing him so much! When will Demko ever get to prove himself?

Road trip:

Bad loss

Unlucky loss

Good win

Good win

Unlucky loss

Ended on a high (level of play)

We'll get em next time in their arena and finally break that curse!

Get back and prepare for the Coyotes.

We got this
