The governors will come through for their states and they’ll work together and save the country, @CBH1926.  I fully believe you’ll see this happening.

Dunno.

Hope its not that dude. Isn't it like that here? i heard provinces have the power?

It is however I think the federal government could impose the emergencies act and then they take full control over the provinces. But I think you are correct because like in Alberta now they just put out a thing here there's fines I think are ranging from 1,000 to $100,000. I know they were also talking about closing their borders to travel I don't understand how that works cuz there's a lot of people from Saskatchewan and British Columbia that work in the Alberta oil industry. It's so hard to keep up and know what's what because there's all these pieces of legislation that we don't know about until a pandemic like this happens and it's kind of once-in-a-lifetime pandemic at least for me.

How is the Apple Crown Royal?  I was thinking of getting it in the next trip.

It is dangerously delicious and smooth, has a definite hint of apple

Thanks for reminding me to have some before I pass out

I do like our governor and Chicago mayor is a very feisty black woman.

They take no $&!# from Trump and told him to &^@# off many times.
Governor Pritzker is part of the family that owned Hyatt so he is not intimidated by the orange clown.

Expect them to come to answer the call, my friend. In that case, things are looking up.

Doing my part.

Ordered 200.00 in liquor delivery to my home today.  Time to restock.

We all need to isolate and stay away from public spaces for a few weeks if we want to get this virus under control.

My uncle’s crab apple wine double distilled 100 proof is way better. Has a hint of apple when served on the rocks. :bigblush:
I’m thinking it would kill any virus.

The problem that we are running into is vengeful turd in the office and his minions.

Hillary is from Chicago, Obama is tied to Chicago, Michelle was born here etc.

City has always been a thorn in GOP’s ass.

It looks like in Jeff's first year in the Dub his coach was Dave King.  Wow!

Thanks for sharing these stories. It’s a good reprieve from the 24/7 news about the virus.
I feel like I got to know the two posters a lot better.

Spending most of my adult life in Vernon, I’ve watched, played ball against or met a few of the guys mentioned in your posts. Brings back a lot of memories.

Being stuck at home during this virus sucks.
I very much appreciate what everyone is bring to this thread.

Stay strong. :gocan:

Speaking of booze, I don’t drink but for some reason friends always get me alcohol.

Pantry is stuffed with fine wine, cognac, grey goose, kettel one, whiskey, patron etc.

Plus a wide selection of brandies from the old country.

This brandy stuff could be used as a Molotov cocktail in case of zombie apocalypse.

I think the travel will be leisure/pleasure related. So many people work in Alberta from other provinces, even me I live in southern Alberta but go to Grande Prairie these days for work.

The higher the mortality rate of a virus, the lower its ability to spread. Coronavirus is like the perfect virus, that could be used as a biological weapons model. The economical and global health complications of SARS, MERS, Nipah, Ebola, H1N1 viruses combined dont even come close to the impact that coronavirus has had. When a virus could shut down India, China and US, you know its bad.

Source?

Haha...that is totally made up. Come on....:picard:

Common sense.  Dead people aren't spreading the virus.
