Kids are actually allowed to play outside with friends all lunch hours... LOL

#BrokenBC

If it's 4hrs in-class sessions,  I would imagine that the kids would be ready to go home.  Not sure where you are getting the idea of letting them play during lunch hours.

And yes...kids are already playing with their own small group of friends.  I've seen it at the parks.

From that link, one of the reason to stop the re-opening is...

The shortest route to our second wave is to send our children back to school; at the risk of our children, our teachers & everyone they come in contact with. This is not an acceptable risk.

That is a poor excuse as that risk will still remain in September.  So what will the position be then?  Close school entirely and go with online education?

Sessions are regular school hours. Regular school day.   Lunch hours will be outside playing. /  creating herd immunity.

Nah, they probably killed Diana, maybe even Epstein.

You're talking to a Brit. I know the Royal Fam is no good.

Hmm...maybe I'm mistaken.

Pretty sure my kids school was only twice a week and half days.  I'll get back to you if I can find the info that says otherwise.

Maybe it's different for every school district.  Dunno.

Great to see Surrey ahead of the rest

Surrey School District Superintendent Jordan Tinney is trying to quell some of the uneasiness, saying there are clear protocols for deep cleaning and disinfecting in place while reassuring teachers they will not be responsible for that.

Right.

The letter I received just stated 2 days.

But with only 7 kids in the class returning (assuming Monday and Friday class) that means no kids from that class will be returning for Wednesday to Friday.

I'm a Canadian too. Dual.

I am not offended. I thought we were agreeing on our overall opinions of the Royal Fam...the details about their Free Mason reptilian hit squad activities...who knows?

Thanks for the kind words. Go Canucks also.

For now, I'm taking this as simple PR - tell the general public what they want to hear and try not to panic parents/teachers/students.  I mean seriously,  what else would a superintendent of the largest school district in the province say publicly?   I want to hear from people in actual schools once kids go back whether strict protocols/measures are not only in place, but are actually being rigorously enforced?
