Edler, Tanev, Hughes, Fantenberg, Myers, Stecher, Benn, Sautner, Briesbrois, Chatfield, and Juolevi are all far better than Gardiner. While some of these guys aren't exactly shutdown Dmen, they are at least capable of playing like NHLers in their own end, unlike Gardiner. You are really underestimating just how much Gardiner hurts his team with his utter incompetence defensively. If Boston had won the cup last year, Gardiner would have been a candidate for the Conn Smythe thanks to how much of a liability he was in the first round. He blows snow before any contact. He refuses to play the right way. Canucks have a courageous D core. Are you a Canuck’s fan? You come here often, and never post anything positive about our team.
