The bad news is Calgary's got an opportunity to rack up points over the next stretch. Over their next five they play San Jose, LA, Anaheim, Chicago, and Anaheim. Then it's Boston, Detroit, Boston, Nashville, and Tampa.

Oil have it a bit tougher over the next five. They play Chicago, Tampa, Florida, Carolina, and Boston. Then it's Minny, LA, Anaheim, Vegas and Winnipeg.

Vegas plays Minny, St Louis, NYI, Washington, and Tampa over their next five. Then they get nice stretch of Florida, Anaheim, Edmonton, Buffalo, and LA.

We don't get it easy. We play Nashville, Chicago, Anaheim, Minny, and Boston again over our next five. Then it's Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, CBJ, and NYI. No easy games coming, even Ottawa's fought hard this season.

Vegas will win the division, we'll be competing with EDM & CGY for the other spots.

EDM has a game in hand & we are tied in games with CGY. Suddenly that cushion we had in PTS & games is gone.

Vegas has one of the worst schedules for the rest of the season tho.

They play most of their games against the currently playoffs-bound teams.

the Canucks are the only team in the NHL that gets their Stars targeted with cheap hits and have no response whatsoever.

blatant slew foot after already receiving a cheap crosscheck from that same guy. Imagine doing that to McDavid or Ovy, you'd have Wilson and Kassian all over your ass.

and it's not like Lucic did it, it was freaking Backlund. nobody stoop up to him except Marky.

Playoff hockey is a different animal, we’d probably lose a good chunk of our better players to injury.

I find it incredibly ironic you're calling out the teams heart while having a full on meltdown on a message board. You're the soft one in all of this.

Marcus Foligno ran rampid on the Canucks last game unchecked, he’s young, cheap , and can skate.

Brendan Dyllon is a tough defence man who can play.

why pay 6 million for a goon past his prime ?

Brendan Dillon is no more intimidating then Jordie Benn.

I do really like both of the Foligno brothers.  I don't think that we can get him from Minny though, he's the heart and soul of their team.

Judging by Benning's moves in the off-season, I think he's well aware of our needs.

After watching foligno on Thursday I agree we need a guy like that

Playoff hockey is a different animal, we could very well get momentum at the right time and surprise a lot of people ... like ... you know ... what we've been doing.

Well, you never know but I worked in a casino so odds are......

Well Benning had a big hand in constructing the Bruins.  (edit) So I'm confident that our team toughness will be addressed this off season.

It's really too bad that the Ferland signing was a big swing and a miss.  It's also too bad that Loui didn't want to waive his no trade clause to go to Edmonton, as Lucic would've been a big upgrade for this team.

Can anyone compile the record of the Canucks with and without Motte?

c'mon seriously how much of an upgrade would he be, once every 25 games or so, no different than Loui and we would be stuck with the guy for an extra year

Been many years since I envied another team that gets to go on the California road trip

I’m sorry, meltdown? How? Where? I’ve been saying the same thing for years. I love our team, I hate the soft attitude that I blame on coaching, AV did it and Green is doing it, we need a coach with balls.

Idk?

This team just needs an identity.

Had some coward tell me in another PGT he would rather take the PP than see players stick up for each other.

Open season on Petey once again…

Not mad at anyone, just disappointed.

Have a good night, not in the mood to go back and forth.

Fair enough. Not sure what people are expecting out of him. He’s the same player he was before he was named captain.

I’m disappointed in the team as well. But it’s brutal when Horvat has a good game and because he’s captain they lost so his fault. Like what he didn’t yell at his team, he didn’t crush someone?

Where  the hell were are bottom 6 players tonight that’s what I wanna know. They should be the ones doing the dirty business. The are suppose to provide energy. Bo did everything he could to score tonight. The pressure on the guy is stupid.
