Time to end the Genocide.    Reconciliation is not just a word to throw around....

Protests and blockades in British Columbia intensified again Monday as an anticipated meeting between federal leaders and Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs who oppose a natural gas pipeline through their territory has yet to materialize.

Two groups of protesters, both marching in support of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs, set up blockades Monday afternoon that shut down service of the West Coast Express commuter train and disrupted access to the Port of Vancouver.

So what about the many Wet’suwet’en people who support the pipeline?  This isn't an indigenous rights issue; this is a "pipelinez baaaahd" protest.

Its the hereditary chiefs that make decisions on unceded territory.  We need to respect first nations various levels of govenment / leadership.

The Indian Act was designed by CDN government to wipe out first nations communities and culture.

The Indian Act is a very controversial piece of legislation.  The Assembly of First Nations describes it as a form of apartheid.9 Amnesty International, the United Nations, and the Canadian Human Rights Commission have continually criticized it as a human rights abuse. These groups claim that the Canadian government does not have the right to unilaterally extinguish Aboriginal rights—something the government could legally do to status Indians up until 1985 through the process of enfranchisement, and can still control through status.

So what about the Wet’suwet’en Hereditary Chiefs who support the pipeline?  Why is nobody standing in solidarity with them?

If you are first nations that how can possibly support the Indian Act ?  You do realize all the damage this  Apartheid act  has caused in Canada....
