Yah but hopefully he quits moving our top propects bodies for rentals.......

This one reeks of JB trying to save his job...  sorry folks but that the way the King sees it....

How many more games does Green have if our team continues to slide?

One of these is not like the other?

Actually, ALL of those players/prospects were touted as being the next great thing immediately following their trade and....

I think Madden is a cut above all of them, barring maybe McCann but at the same time, the record kind of speaks for itself thus far

CDC mentality every time we trade picks or prospects. In love with the mystery box even though most of the time we move prospects they amount to mediocre NHL players at best. Not saying Madden won't be good per say but his success is hardly a given. Plus as others have noted we have too many centres as is anyway. To flip that asset for a legitimate top 6 winger, a position we are lacking makes sense especially if we can resign him at a reasonable cost.

You have to give something to get something. People operate as if we can trade our junk and get value in return.

What Canucks fans expect to happen:

Miller - Pettersson - Boeser

Pearson - Horvat - Toffoli

Roussel - Gaudette - Virtanen

MacEwan - Beagle - Sutter

Eriksson

What really is going to happen:

Miller - Pettersson - Boeser

Pesrson - Horvat - Eriksson

Roussel - Gaudette - Toffoli

Virtanen - Beagle - Sutter

MacEwan

If/When an injury player comes back. Gaudette will probably be sitting out.

Not bad, thank god it wasn't Hogs or Woo.

Hopefully JB can get rid of a couple of other contracts.

Looks like Leivo might be gone as well, see no place for him on this roster anymore.

Bess is gone for at least three weeks.  Tofoli is his replacement

We just fell to third in the Pacific.  Considering JB is clearly all in this season, if we continue to slide does he replace Green?  How long will JB allow this current poor play to continue?

Well, considering a lot of the Canucks issues center around failure to convert on the man advantage and defensive lapse, canning those two and giving Green a better supporting cast coach wise makes more sense at this juncture.

But you can’t slot Schaller in that line up:bigblush:
