They are not very good at coming back and we had this problem at the beginning of the year. I dunno if it’s because they haven’t learned how. It’s not just scoring the first goal but it’s also scoring and then scoring the next. Playing with purpose. Sometimes it looks as though they are satisfied to just sit back. IBatch Posted February 24, 2020 Share Posted February 24, 2020 One things for sure with the "old" Markstrom (and even the new one to a certain degree) the team has had a lot of practice starting behind. Crazy stats this year league-wide..no lead is as safe anymore. Can't remember if it was NHL.com or THN with the article, but we were approaching the all-time record in comeback wins for one season (and that was made a week or two ago) - Florida already matched the record for two comeback wins behind 4 goals (wtf? Hopefully Demko and Domingue can hold the fort and the Canucks don't slip too far back. If Benning is done dealing, then the Canucks got worse after today.
