Its not LE per se but what him being there on the first line is costing Bo scoring wise. LE shouldn't be in the top 6.

yet there was a period of time (6 to 8 games) not too long ago

where loui's presence on bo's line

actually upped the performance of that line

he has been an asset to that line this season

and no doubt

he has not been for periods of time as well

but he has been mostly neutral as a result

not sure why he warrants so many words

makes me think this has less to do with loui

then unhappiness of many posters

scape goating is so real on these boards

it's unsettling

Was hoping Toffoli would sign shortly after joining us

thinking he is going to try out the free agency waters, plus his value is going up

So this is a battle of who has the worse D structure.....I truly hope the Nucks can rebound tonight but I don't think so, loser point if they are lucky....unless the hockey gods feel like giving them another Boston game...which I doubt....maybe a few bounces go their way tonight....Sigh....road warriors they ain't this year....

You posted the same post twice but regardless...you appear to have some anger issues. Have you thought of joining a gym?  When did you last get laid?

Someone complaining about a sports team on an on- line forum is fairly common and far less annoying than someone comaining about others complaining.

nah dude you're just taking me way too seriously. I'm actually not mad at all. sorry if it came across that way. was just making an observational comment. I'm cool tho. I gym. i get laid. thanks for your concern.

am fascinated

by the fixation by so many on here

on loui

he is not a game changer

neither positive nor negative

yet he gets so damn many words

you know who the game changers could be but are not pulling their weight lately ?

and who should be commented on instead

gaud, virt, bo, and even ep40 (who is again slowing down in the 2nd half)

if these players stepped it up

loui is irrelevant

but let's just talk only about loui

and of course, green, in conjunction with loui

cuz he plays this player who is so damn neutral to team success

Mayor of Wrongville,

How can a player on the top line not be a game changer (for good or bad). They get the most minutes!  You make no sense.

So should Green sit Gaudette, or Virtanen, or Bo, or Petey before  he sits LE?

Even with their flaws....

Gaudette: young inexperienced prone to rookie mistakes

Virtanen: inconsistent, still developing his hockey smarts on the ice

Bo:  not too great defensively

Petey:  in a mini slump for him

They are miles ahead of LE in their pluses, and what they bring to the team on a night in night out basis.

The idea that only some players have an affect on wins and losses and others are "irrelevant" is whack. Especially if hes on the #$%$ top line.

Huge difference between pointing fault and identifying improvement areas

you honestly think the lineup makes sense? You honestly think we don’t need tweaks? We are good? On the way to the Cup

nothing wrong with trying to get better

it’s the objective of sport

if you read my posts you would see plenty of concrete suggestions, not just pure whining

well ..  some whining

No, I agree stuff should be talked about but sometimes I just see you continually bitch non stop at the most obvious stuff as if you don't understand.

a. sports are tough

b. some teams win, some teams lose,

c. teams (almost always) never try to lose and always try their best to win

d. your team and all other teams cannot win every game

Therefore your team may lose and it may not be as simple as all your little jabs like Green sucks, his systems suck, how is he playing Eriksson there, and why didn't he call a timeout,. etc If you honestly think that you can easily see the coaching mistakes on your television screen and just fix them with broad strokes I think you are greatly over simplifying the game and frankly doing it an injustice.

If all you are trying to do is discuss this stuff as you claim there are better ways to go about it than calling the head coach stupid and calling for his head every second. Like ... would that be your solution if you worked with the Canucks?

LE is heading towards his season avg of 10 goals Bo deserves better than that.  And 3 of those are EN goals

Why does Bo  have to babysit his sorry ass.

Weirdly enough, this will probably get the Benning haters going, the only player Benning has traded for an extended without actually seeing them play was Sutter. Lol. I was also hoping a Toffoli deal would happen shortly after the trade. I wonder if they are just seeing what Virtanen, Tanev and Marky want/will get before committing money to someone else. I think Virtanen's asking price will matter less because he is an RFA and doesn't NEED to be re-signing before/around July 1st.

Hmmm...worked on hundreds of sites and didn't get that impression at all ... did you get a blister before they let you go?

it was actually a slipped disc and a torn hamstring before I moved on to being in business for myself but good guess

Man do I want us to win tonight.  I just have this fear (considering the number of shots we give up) that if Demko isn’t lights out, we are going to lose by a converted touchdown.

i suggested sitting no one

i merely commented on the amount of words used on loui

that the energy was misplaced

yet you wish to insist it is not

that few words used on others is just fine

and loui is so important

that words and more words can be spent on him

go ahead

use your words as you wish

i don't see the point

See - you’re getting more positive. Last week you would have predicted we’d lose by double digits...

No but I do speak from having actually played the game at a very competitive level and still playing

I am not saying couch potatoes don’t have a say but I am speaking from a Knowledge  base

I hate losing and at this time of the year when every point matters to just am frustrated when it’s so much bivouac we can make better decisions

Jake needs to be with Brock and EP

move Toffoli with Bo and Pearson

move Loui to line 3 or4

sit down roussel

Crash the net and stop playing on the perimeter , specially on the pp

quit cycling back into the defensive zone

simple simple things but we don’t do them
