The report about the cap increase was just an estimate, the actual cap has frequently come under the estimate. I think we have to wait and see what the league says on something like that. It could have been a California-specific law they are dealing with. GritGrinder Posted March 11, 2020 Share Posted March 11, 2020 With the WHO announcement this morning and actions being taken in Europe and a couple of US cities/regions in regards to cancelling large crowd events I can't see how the NHL and NBA finish their seasons unless they play with no fans in the stands. Not sure how long of a postponement each league could afford before the seasons have to be cancelled but that's pretty much where we are at.
