5 More Years of Keith & Kane!

image.png.44e0ff64380b086ba2ff8d376a7582d3.png

Making a combined 1.85M for the past 3 seasons, the two cornerstones of the franchise have received 5 year contracts.

It is rumoured Duncan Keith has received one of the largest contracts in league history for a defender, in the $6,000,000+ range. It is well deserved, as since 2007-08, Keith ranks 2nd in points with 179 and is in the top 5 for minutes played, averaging 27:15 a season.

Kane will be receiving $5,800,000 per season after recording 53, 77 and 76 point seasons since entering the league.

All 5 year contracts on "unproven" players are not subject to the guidelines. These players will be paid according to their potential on a case by case basis and the agent will work in tandem with the commissioner to ensure the player is adequately compensated.
