I think in R1 Virt got mislynched (again) despite hard claiming John Locke. 

112 had some Jester/God role and literally spammed the thread the entire game. 

JL included the most outrageous mechanics including the Dharma initiative making certain villagers turn into the 3rd party faction that ended up winning. 

Good times.

Lynching me isn't the wisest option.

My role is the Strongman.

Once a game, I have a kill that is unblockable and umsaveable. Basically the exact same thing as last time. Therefore at this point I am regular mafia.

Also, it has come up in our PM that their is a possibility of 2 mafia teams solely based on numbers.

Both Hashtag, Nail and I are all part of one mafia team, which means that if there is another mafia team out there, they're in a much better position.

Also there are only 6 people in our PM, with a possibility of only half the members left after tonight.

I'd recommended you guys focus on a third party and kill us off in another method.

Also with there only being 6 of us out of 30, we either have a million lackeys, or there is another team out there.

With everyone claiming the same role, it seems more and more likely.

On that topic, since the numbers are so off there is a chance there are other mafia out there.

PM me!!! We're so screwed but do so anyway.

Before I get banned for being a "alt", I'd like you to read the following as I feel as if it would not only be of help, but I've also put in a ton of effort into this and would prefer if it would be read completely before I get any type of ban or negative-reaction.

Now I'll just start with some background knowledge.

I am Zfetch(banned today for reasons unknown), formerly known as KingAlex. Before I may become banned again, I'd like to share my opinion and see you guys share yours, because I feel as If my ban was unwarranted and had a very hurtful underlying statement.

This website means quite a lot to me, as it does have canucks-related discussion and does have some very good members to compliment that.

This place is commonly referred to as "CDC" but it is also labeled as "Canucks Community" and I'm feeling recently that not just my personal experiences, but others have been frustrated due to being banned for otherwise not so amazing reasons, hence a loss of the meaning "community"

I was banned today for....and I quote, being a "KingAlex alt account"

Now what was said is very much true, however, my persona as Zfetch does not one single-bit reflect my personality as KingAlex.

My account Zfetch was nearing a year old, and my reveal of who I previously was, was revealed atleast 6 months ago.
And 6 moths after revealing such info, I get a curveball out of nowhere that says I was a "KingAlex alt account" despite being very active and otherwise a different member from my KingAlex era.

Striking differences

•Had Zfetch account for almost one full year after KingAlex fiasco

•Originally got banned as KingAlex for being stupid enough to not read the rules, and bypass suspension with an alt account.

•Had 5 warning posts in ~500 posts as KingAlex.

•Had 1700+ posts and ONLY ONE warning as Zfetch.

•To put that in perspective, If I continued on the pace I was going as KA, I would have recieved 17 warnings in 1700 posts which is 17x the amount I received as Zfetch.

•Hence being roughly 17x better of a poster, which completely changes the fact that I even had a KingAlex account.

•KingAlex poster persona was more of a funny insensitive, account.

•Zfetch was a mostly helpful, and positive member of this community in contrast to KingAlex.

Why the change?

Why was I a much improved poster throughout the two accounts?
I gotta start of by thanking Deb. She issued all 5 warnings as KingAlex, and I believe I asked her questions on why I got each of those warnings. I grew very much from her insight, and adjusted from what I've learned within' those PM's. On the other hand, Templeton, one of the most respectable mods, has thrown out bans almost as a result of having the ability to do so? I'm a little frustrated by that, and I know a certain someone in CDC who has shown frustration in the community, as they got warnings/ban for having an opinion and they are frustrated as such. Now I'm not blaming anything on Templeton, as I actually think the other former-user has it almost all wrong with their frustration, you are by far a great mod as you know almost all the time what is and what is not worthy of the hammer, and not to mention your activity on this forum is key to running this site.
In fact, I'm only bringing up Templeton's name as an example. All mods here do a good job, however I think there is a more viable solution than immediate life-banning or lengthy suspensions for that matter. That can make this place much better and troll-free.

What's the solution?
Judge the situation. Is an opinion worth a ban? Or is something like constant negative trolling,worth a ban?
Acknowledge. There is a reason so-and-so user is doing something. Ask why. Showing interest is key, rather than doing an action.
Help. Showing care in others is key to making this a better community. (I.e:Deb with me.) If you show care in what they're doing wrong, they're less likely to do it. Just see the results above between my two ex-accounts.

People who have gotten banned - comparisons.
•Gross-Misconduct. Posted a nude.
•Baking Soda/Edler23/Vrbatman...etc. Constant trolling.(Not positive like Saniel Dedin either)
•LaBomba. He got banned a year ago for a unknown reason, and he has made it public like I have, yet I get mistreated/banned?
•Zfetch. Trolling? No. NSFW content? No. So where does the line become drawn?

Back on a personal and group level.

Now I've provided the reasons on why I've been banned and why I shouldn't be for now, but the main thing I'm disappointed about is that I was thrown a curveball out-of-nowhere, that neither reflects who I am, nor reflects why I got banned.
This is after all a community, and to be "left out" like that doesn't reflect the word community.
We should feel a sense of belonging, and to be judged and left out based on who you used to be is an unfairly discriminatory way to look at people, and further more a unfair method of leaving them out of the community.
If the person you're going to ban has not done anything really bad, I suggest PM'ing people and getting their thoughts out of it, and in result you'd be surprised how much people change. Rather than the traditional method that rather annoys people, and encourages the continuation of trolling, nsfw-content..etc, would it be too hard to sit down and have a quick discussion with the user via PM and discuss what has been done wrong and what they can do to improve it? And that would at least give them a little precaution before a upcoming ban.

I'd like to see some of your responses as I think this is a vital issue that should be touched upon.

I would appreciate a understanding of my situation and many others to further improve a site that has been damaged by negative people and bad-trolls, and I think we could possibly start calling this a community with a little more care.

That game was so crazy. I think there was a point where 3 different Lost characters were claimed and counter-claimed, making people think that maybe there were actually 2 of each character.

 

And then of course Zfetch came up with an explanation that would've required there being 3 of a certain character
