Totally agree that trading Kane would bring back a king's ransom and accelerate any type of rebuild.... ...but the Hawks are also on a 500+ sellout streak which includes 3 straight years of missing the playoffs. And its Kane whose putting butts in those seats during these down years. Not sure Rocky Wirtz is ready to let the team's meal ticket go just yet. Just pointing out they have that option if Kane was willing. Probably get more than Karlsson considering he's still signed 3 more years at a more than fair deal. They have a lot of options moving forward but their future lies in their younger players stepping up and trying to shed some contracts(Seabrook).
