Wow, that's rough. That will be very tough. Fortunately, he has teammates who can relate and empathize.

Rough season for Canucks dads.    Condolences to his family.  48 is way too young.

Glad he got to experience seeing his boy make it to the bigs. RIP

Yes exactly this... very tragic situation but at least he got the chance to be proud of his son having his strongest season ever.

Thoughts and prayers with the MacEwen family.

I am so very sorry for your families loss, Zack

It must be very painful, and we all send our love to you and yours

Know this, that as a father, he was heart achingly proud of you

and loved you very much.

You completed his dream! Think of the good times!

That is when he was at his happiest!

As people here have already said...48 is way too young!

My very sincere condolences :canucks:

48 years old? That's a young Dad.

My father was 58 when he passed away suddenly. I was around Zack's age when it occurred.

My heart goes out to Zack and his family.

RIP Craig MacEwen.

Captainkirk888, Unfortunately its true and very sad ?? You don't believe ? Don't share names, friend close to family in Vancouver..

No, I was just quoting places I found it for @Squamfan because he/her asked where you found this. It is sad, no disrespect intended. I lost my first wife when she was 35, death is hard to deal with at any age.

So sorry to hear this.

May the pride of strong relationship and fond memories, fill the void of loss quickly.

They live on through us.
