CSL/RGMG Sim 5.0 - League Ended

Patrick Kane

Recommended Posts

Sharks are coming off their worst regular season yet, and as a result have to meet @Patrick Kane's Blackhawks in the first round.

Going 3-0-1 against them in the regular season seems like this could be a favourable matchup, however the last time we met the regular season record meant nothing.

Not liking my odds in this series. Cheechoo and Ehrhoff have been solid, and Hall surprisingly led all west players in +/-. But we'll need more from Thornton, and for Kari to stand on his head to have a shot.

Kari has never lost a series when the Bruins are in the playoffs. It's a long shot, but could we have Bruins vs Sharks 3.0?

The Kings release the following players to free agency after playoffs.  They are both key to our playoff success (self-rentals) this year so don't tell them we aren't re-signing them:

Sergei Samsonov - Great scoring winger for us this year but the young guys are ready to take over

Robin Regehr - Career year later in his career.  Young guys are ready to take over this role now.  Big FA fish
