Today, the Edmonton Oilers did Patrick Maroon a big favor and traded the Power Forward to his hometown, St.Louis. Yes, Patrick Maroon has come HOME. We thank St.Louis Blues GM @Otis for a very smooth and lovely negotiation. Patrick Maroon was a good player for the Oilers but the resurgence of Jujhar Khaira in the minor team, we had to make a move to call him up, sadly it had to be Maroon who had to be dealt. We like to thank Patrick Maroon for his services with the Oilers organization and as well as, wish the best of luck to Patrick Maroon and his family. With Maroon gone, Oilers brought in Thomas Vanek, a sniper who loves to shoot the puck and go hard to the net. We are hoping this will jump start Oilers offense and bring in some much needed scoring help. We believe Vanek still has some gas left in the tank and hopefully excels with.
