funny story, during game 1 I said "this is the worst officiating ive seen since the canucks were eliminated by the sharks in 2013", so I looked up who was officiating and it turns out to be Kelly Sutherland both in 2013 and last night

so I dig deeper and i found out Kelly Sutherland officiated the 2011 finals as well...

I don't think the league is assigning the same crew two games in a row.  I'd be more worried about the rest of the series with him potentially rigging an elimination game.

I’ve been a Green supporter since day 1. 
But if he puts in Rousell over Virtanen again in game 2, I’m jumping the fence and joining the fire Green team.  

The kid needs to be in.  His game is built for the playoffs.   Let him loose.

Personally I'd taking Gaudette out as well and inserting MacEwen.  I like the kid but he looked totally outclassed.

Sutherland is dog$&!#, but it doesn't matter who is reffing, they just have to play better.

That was sloppy, half hearted crap from most of the team.

 

Virt better be in after how painfully obvious it was we need a big body causing $&!#.

Lots of blame to go around and I expect the team recognizes that.

All these people demanding Jake goes in. I am not disagreeing, but perhaps Green knows something you don't? Maybe he isn't in game shape? He didn't exactly have any amount of jump in camp.

The  team as a whole looked flat last night -  hope  game 2 is better.

And Kelly Sutherland -  well I think he should not be allowed to ref a Canucks game - ever

But on a happy note - sure is nice to have some games to watcg

I hope that if Gaudette remains in, he at least tries to play more physically and finish his checks.

 

Green is right about the top guys but we had trouble scoring against Winterpeg as well. No change, same result. Let's hope that the trend does not continue.
