  1. So guys, what do you think of this years Sigur Rós album Kveikur? I think it's much better than the previous album Valtari although still not as good as their older stuff like Agaetis Byrjun, Takk or the Brackets album. I finally had time to listen to Queens of the Stone - Like Clockwork and imho, the album is much better than Era Vulgaris. I especially like songs Like Clockwork, The Vampyre of the Time and Memory, Kalopsia, I Appear Missing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9-m0Vutqes On the other hand, the new Nine Inch Nails album is utterly boring... :/ I am not much of a The National listener (actually I think I have heard only one older album twice), but my friend has persuaded me to go with her on their concert in September. She's a huge fan, so I hope I won't disappoint her by not being amused by the band. :D I remember when I was at U2 concert which was awesome, but before U2, Snow Patrol were playing and even though I liked their older albums (they had their huge radio hit chasing cars at that time) I was totally bored by their dull live performance. btw: if you know of any good concerts in September/October, post here guys, or is there a specific thread for that?
  2. Downfall - an indie horror adventure game in retrographics (AGS).
  3. New Sigur Rós album Kveikur is great. Much better than their last one - Valtari, which was a disappointment.
  4. I am looking forward to this weekend to return back to my childhood and play Space Quest IV, V and VI. I've bought them recently on GOG.com to finally play through it, since I haven't finished a single one when I was a kid (way too difficult for me back then). I love these old sierra adventures, especially Gabriel Knight and Quest for Glory series (I've finished all games in the series a couple of times, even with an imported character from the first game to the last one.).
  5. I had some time to finally play ME 3: Citadel DLC this weekend and it was really good. The best thing about it was that they were breaking or making fun of many cliches from the series. Too bad that the original game wasn't this quality. The only downside of the DLC were the Anderson's audiologs, they were full of pathetic patriotic crap.
  6. Yeah baby, Godfather IV in the making! So what did I miss? This was the last time I read about the case. They are still in the stalemate? And most importantly will Philip Seymour Hoffman play Ford in the movie?
  7. So what do you think of new Tricky's album guys? I gave it a few spins and even though the first single Nothing's Changed is one of the best tracks on the album, the whole melancholic "attitude" of the album reminds me of a more ambient version of Massive Attack's Mezzanine (in a good way).
  8. This is how I imagine acoustic chillout music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_9EBL7JUw0
  9. This year looks grim for a progrock fan like me: The Mars Volta is disbanded already for a few months and Steven Wilson put Porcupine Tree on hiatus. :/
  10. If these http://jaybanks.ca/v...vancouver-2013/ are the best concerts of 2013, then
  11. Not playing anything at the moment. I really need at least one of these oldschool isometric Kickstarter funded RPGs to be finished. I've played all infinity engine games and Fallouts way too many times and I am not satisfied with those modern day dumb-downed wannabe RPGs...
  12. That name cracks me up.
