  1. I am little disappointed in Wille, this is not exactly a "chance to succeed"
  2. why does Lazar look way ahead of Bo in terms of development?
  3. real smooth skater, crease clearing D man - looks like the player this franchise has never had, the kind of D man that legit intimidates the opposition and can wear down opposing players over the course of a series. I hope he comes to NA - real nice scouting and JB showed some legit balls in picking this guy.
  4. Horvat made the team and Green said Jensen is ready bro, it was just a matter of numbers.
  5. yup talking about why bo should be in the lineup and how to get him there. Thank you for such a sterling contribution.
  6. cap space for when that right shot PMD becomes available, lol, plus we are full of average to above average prospects and bottom six players and you need to clear the way for youth to come in and be given chances to gain experience and make an impact.
  7. I agree Trade Hansen, but if Dorsett gets a 3rd from NYR and Garrison gets a 2nd from TB, I would hope for something like a 3rd+ a 4th or 5th, but I would do the trade for a 3rd And I get that its only been a s few pre season and 2 season games where Hansen has been crap, but does he really offer so much that it is worth returning Bo to Jr. CoHo wasn't half the defensive or responsible player Bo is and we still kept him for most of a season as a 4th liner before he broke out the next year. I wouldn't move Jensen up, I would insert Horvat, move Matthias to the wing and give Horavt a good look for 9 games. If he does well, keep him and you can always lone him to Team Canada for WJC. I would bring up Jensen when the first injury strikes
  8. it is time to make room for these young guys if I am willie, I have to tell Hansen and Matthias they risk losing their jobs if vey, jensen, shink, horvat continue to out play them by such a large margin. Burrows has been a little sleepy but he needs time to still be evaluated. Vey needs to work on his defence so I'd move him to the wing. sedin sedin vebrata Shink Bonino Vey Burrows Horvat Kassian Higgins Richardsson Dorsett yes, that 2nd line is green, but these guys are the top producers so far so they deserve a shot. Lots of youth in this group, good mix, 4 lines that can play. Jensen in Utica until he learns how to not take penalties 200 feet from his net Matthias or Hansen is traded along with Markstrom for picks, I don't care if we only get 3rd, 4th for Markstrom and Hansen. Get rid of useless cap. lets be honest, we got nothing for luongo, lets just trim the fat so they do not take up space our young players could benefit from
  9. IMO horvat should be brought into this team unless he is flat out not ready and I have a hard time imagining that. Cody played limited minutes his first year here, but had a breakout year right after. Here is my stab at it Higgins Horvat Vey Matthias Richardsson Dorsett Hansen Hansen may compete with Vey or Mathias, but if he cannot clearly win a job I'd trade him if there are any takers. Should be able to get a 3rd and a 4th for him, dare I ask for a 2nd?
  10. great job, really liked it. Our cubbard is pretty solid, also Dane Fox and Linden Vey are very interesting prospects.
  11. bure barely spoke english by the end of his career, who cares what language he speaks and how much english he speaks
  12. thats not a bad thing, the KHL is probably the highest level of hockey outside the NHL, letting him develop there is a good thing
  13. I would actutally give of TT instead of shinkarurk what do you think? Shinker was a cpatain, good canadian kid, grity for his size
  14. to me, tanev and 6th for SR and Kesler for Pouliot + is a no brainer - that gives us future 1C and 1D otherwise we just grumble along without the key pieces for a rebuild
