Surprised at the vitriol aimed at Booth here because he's unashamedly religious. Fundamental beliefs aren't like hats that you can take on and off; they inform your very being. I don't agree with Booth on everything, but some tolerance would be nice. Were I to single out and demean another particular demographic the way folks do for Christians, there would be an outrage.
On topic: mixed feelings, since I can't imagine that we're going to win the cup this coming season. Would have rather let Booth have a chance to prove himself when healthy; at worst, we continue to suck for another year to convince management that a major shakeup is needed, and at best, Booth starts performing well and we could have maybe traded him for some picks at the deadline. Cap space is nice, I guess.
