Can't say I'm surprised. This place started to go downhill when mods were unable to hold personal grudges and punished people for having different opinions especially when it came to political topics - or a non-political topic that became politicized. The true reason for it shutting down will only be known by a few. I met a few cool people in here, and one I stay in touch with to this day even after he got the ban hammer years ago. Hell, the almighty Stealth Nuck banned me a long time ago for some bullshit. I did still come in here every now and then just out of morbid curiosity and to hear from some of the knowledgeable fans on things involving hockey/Canucks. Can't say I'll miss it though as there are tons of other sources for hockey news/info. That being said, enjoy your new forum. Hopefully the mods there won't be as petty and as pedantic with their fragile little feels and actually allow confrontational discourse without feeling the need to play mommy and daddy as they get off on their "power" to control people.
