The Canucks current goal song, Simple Minds "Don't You (Forget About Me)" Don't You (Forget About Me) - Wikipedia is not a bad song, it's just older than any player on the team by at least 8 years. Maybe something more current would inspire them? Should we get a new song? What should it be?

We need new assistant coaches. I think Bieksa would be a great coach, start him out as BB's assistant and promote him when Bruce retires.

Foote's skating has been an issue and has kept him from becoming the dman that Tampa was hoping for. At this point we could probably get him for a 3rd round pick.

I think some former Canucks may have found the dressing room to "woke" as they like to say. Schmidt, Holtby and now Dickinson were all traded or bought out after a year, none of them ever seemed happy to be here.

Did you even watch the game? It was a mostly AHL line up for the Canucks against a mostly NHL line up for Edmonton. Demko didn't play and for the first 40 minutes they looked pretty good.

I don't drive, except on rare occasions. I travel a lot for work, so I stream the games on Espn+, sometimes I just listen if I'm busy with other things.

Not to be flippant but, does anyone still listen to the radio? It might be hard to sell the rights to the radio broadcast if there's no one listening.

I agree his consistency has been his shortcoming so far in the AHL but he's young and i think he will mature into a good dman. There's definitely risk in trading for him, if he were a sure bet, I don't think LA would trade him. At the same time Rathbone isn't a sure thing either.

Vancouver needs young RD and LA has a bunch of them. LA needs young LD, Vancouver has Rathbone who won't get more than 3rd pair minutes unless Hughes or OEL are injured. Grans is probably 5th or 6th on LA's RD depth chart. Both players have potential to be top 4 defensemen. I think it's a fair trade, meets the needs of both teams.
