In Topic: Bo Horvat Talk

12 December 2014 - 07:35 PM

Van falls in love w. Rookies so easily, Horvat is reaching hodgson status where people are defending him blindly.

I remember when everyone wanted more ice time for hodgson even tho he didn't deserve it and had Kesler and hank ahead of him at centre..

Same w. Bo. YOu can tell he isn't ready to produce offensive yet ppl want him ahead of Richardson.

Bo should be sent to WJc so he can play more than 10 min a night and develop and gain confidence.

Canucks won't miss him. We can slot kassian on 3rd line wing spot and move Vey or Mathias down for 4th line c.

Couldn't Hansen or Kassian play left wing at all?
If so sit Dorsett and put a lineup of Hansen/Bo/Kassian...or flip Hansen and
Kass...

DD will not sit, he is sandpaper on the team and not only that he is producing.

Bo is starting to reach Cody hodgson fan love level and hasn't even played 20 games yet.

Canucks are not in the business of player development , they want wins.

And I bbelieve Bo will have to sit some nights for us to achieve that. Him and Vey.

Yeah Vey is a pp specialist but his size will be his downfall. Kassian is coming back in when hes ready folks.

I agree with this. Kass brings a mixture or size skill and fear that nobody else on our team brings.

As for sitting I think it will alternate between Bo and Vey. Vey is a key contributor tho to the 1st unit pp so I think it will be Bo sitting most nights.

Vey sat earlier in the year without complaint.WD had that much trust in him to maintain his focus when he came back.I think the whole strategy has been to take out the individualism in the room and Kass seems to need to learn about team first attitude.

Lmfao based on what ? Because he has tattoos ??

Ppl need to stop pretending like they are part of the dressing room.

It's also a fact that come playoff time, Dustin Brown and David backes and everyone else in that mold will target the Sedins and Kass will be needed. Not to mention Kass is probably the 3rd best playmaker in this lineup behind Henrik and Bonino.

You highly undervalue all three.

i didnt value any of them, i told you their roles...

Mathias bottom 6 player...am i wrong?

If mathias is playing on your 2nd line then your team is in trouble.

Markstrom, will be put on waivers again next year, am I wrong??? Lack on waivers instead? i dont think so. and Miller under contract. So Markstrom can be had for free just like this year..

and Cederholm has been unimpressive with me and honestly was overhyped from his 1 youtube video of hulk smashing the medicine ball..Ive watched a ton of Winterhawks game this year and he has been average at best. Dana Murzyn type with size. too bad its not the clutch and grab days of the nhl anymore
