In the end, this goes down in history as one of the worst trades ever. Wasted 1st- and 2d- picks and added long-term dead cap, with no playoffs to show for it. All three should've been allowed to burn down their last year of bad contracts - as Arizona did - while tanking and keeping draft picks, cap space and owner's money. GMs are paid for being able to calculate risks and foresee long-term consequences much better than this.
