  1. Mika Zibanejad's new single (yes the hockey player), surprisingly good:
  2. He was never going to make the team out of camp because Larsen was penciled in to run our PP from the moment we traded for him(which is absurd for a KHL castaway). Even though Stecher outplayed him at every turn, it didn't matter. I know we'll probably see Troy sooner rather than later and he will be playing big minutes, but it bothers me that based off of his play and the fact that Linden specifically stated they will take the best 23 players no matter what, that they still sent him down. My prediction: Larsen will show incapable of handling 5 on 5 play in the regular season and put on waivers in a few months and Stecher is up with the big club like he deserves.
  3. The plot description for next episode states it's "an old foe" and we've already been shown Walder Frey in one of the trailers so I think it's safe to say it's him. But Benjen saving them would make sense This episode was crazy though, a tonnnn of foreshadowing.
  4. The Night's King left his mark on Bran. The wall is said to have some sort of magic protection to keep the White Walkers out so I think it's probable that they let him escape and get over the wall so that the Walkers can finally bring it down and enter Westeros
  5. Yea there's no debating that the Dorne plot is horrendous but what makes it worse is that those "actresses"( i cringe even calling them that) are absolutely terrible. By far the worst characters and performers on the series
  6. I was never much of McGregor fan but I always respected the attention that he brought to the sport. My respect and admiration has just skyrocketed after this move. I know a lot of butthurt fans and haters that were looking for absolutely any reason to jump on the guy have been having a field day. But what he did was truly remarkable. He was by far the most active fighter of any of their fighters in terms of doing promos and being available to media and it wasn't anywhere close. He has mentioned before that such obligations such as the obsurd UFC tour for the first Aldo fight was incredibly draining and he easily does 3-4 times as much promo for fights as any fighter let alone champ that the UFC has. He finally said enough is enough and asked for some time to focus on his craft and the ufc $&!# on him. The fight in question is 3 months in advanced, they want him to fly from iceland to Vegas on short notice to promote a fight that is three months down the road. With todays technology, get the guy on a conference call, he's inconvenienced his life for the last couple years just to satisfy the UFCs ever growing demands and he has finally realized that it is a detriment to not only his career, but his legacy. You give the UFC leeches an inch and they ask for a whole mile for you. He is waging a war that was started by GSP and echoed by Jones but he has more leverage than any of those fighters. He is standing up to a bully and turning down over 10 million dollars because he knows his legacy is on the line and he knows his employers is only trying to milk him dry. Kudos to Conor and &^@# the UFC leeches. There needs to be a union and that has been evident for forever in this sport, but it has come full circle and Conor is fighting for all fighters in the promotion. I always root for the little guy against the conglomerates and McGregor deserves everyone's respect for what he's doing
  7. Can't see him not signing as any good agent and really, informed prospect, could see that the Canucks depth chart at G is really lacking. There aren't a lot of teams that are as weak as we are in terms of goalies in the pipeline (excluding Demko of course). The delay in making a decision though is interesting, but maybe his degree is that important to him. He strikes me as a good kid , I think even if he does go back he will still sign. However , management would likely get pretty nervous and look to move him at the draft if he does in fact decide to to back. panicking about this now accomplishes absolutely nothing
  8. http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2016/03/19/brock-boeser-breaks-out-und/ encouraging to hear that it's not set in stone in his mind that he's returning to ND. Would be awesome to see him in the AHL next year
  9. http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/3928100-commentary-can-anyone-challenge-und-scsu-penrose-cup Third time I believe
  10. I know, just a bunch of crackpots and conspiracy theorists!
