Don't know why everyone is doom and gloom over losing in a shoot out to Montreal. Look at the bigger picture. We are 5 points back on Edmontom who have a game in hand and a tougher schedule. We play them SIX more times. And we have 4 more games versus Ottawa. Edmonton is not dominating their games right now. Wow wee they slaughtered Ottawa! But they have played 7 games vs Ottawa (14 free bee points. Take a look at the standings. The Canucks are in a log Jame with everyone else points wise. And have the easiest schedule with their 1 week rest coming up. Big deal we didn't get the two points tonight. Look at the big picture. Oh yeah they are doing great without Petey right now!

Nobody is denying his speed and ability to get points. McDavid is not an all round complete hockey player. In my mind to be the "the best player in the world" you need to play both sides of the ice. Play a team game, rather than worry about padding your own stats. As a Captain you don't whine and cry about everything. He doesn't use his big frame for any type of contact. He watches and waits for the puck, a lot of time at the blueline. You rarely see him battling the boards or blocking shots. We have seen Petterson dive in front of shots to stop the puck from going in on an empty net on numerous occasions. No way McDavid is doing that. Overrated.

Im sure his head is not right Hes had a tough life and dealt with a lot of death Im sure his fathers illness lingers on his mind constantly. We forget hes 22 years old. Give him a break.

I agree with you 100% Just from the last 8 years. The Penticton Vees have produced Troy Stecher, Dante Fabbro, Ryan Johansen, and Tyson Jost (off the top of my head) The BCHL produces a lot of good talent and its a fun league to watch.
