From The Province:

He's still very raw as evident by his nutrition comments. After a couple years marinating in the pros and really working on his overall fitness, he's going to be a solid utility player with the potential to moveup because of his incredible shot.

thats a great thing...when a player has very little to improve on, it lets them become apathetic and comfortable with where they are at.  Fox has lots of room to improve which is a good thing.

Tough 3 games for the group, but for those going to main camp need to forget about this and move on.

This was a small sampling of hockey again for them...need to bring up the intensity at main camp if they hope to make a better impression than what they left in Penticton.

As much as you want to say that the Canucks have drafted decent Dman in the later rounds...it hurts the teams future when you continually stock up the quality of the forwards and not much on the backend. 9 straight years since Bourdon was drafted, the canucks have not taken a single dman in the first round. And only 4 in the 2nd and 3rd round since 2005.

Quality Defense needs to be a huge priority in the 2015 draft.

Gosh Jeremy Blain is pretty bad...how did we sign him over Jeremy Price?

Funny thing is, he played in Niagra with Andrew Shaw and produced much better.

He just needs his chance

Its just harder for him to crack the roster at the time he was drafted H.Sedin, Kesler, Malhotra, Hodgson, Schroeder all ahead of him...over the years he has been buried low by depth.

As for Shaw...Chicago's center after Toews has been a revolving door.  So his opportunity came sooner than most expected.

I sure hope though Alex gets his chance next season...this team lacks a spark plug type player.
