I have never really golfed before. I have been to a driving range, but pretty much don't know what I am doing. Anyone have any suggestions on how to learn/where to start? (i don't have any family or friends near me that golf)

While I understand Eklund posts rumors, and majority of which will never see the light of day. It's the posts that he makes that don't make any sense whatsoever that bug me. Example the Canucks are interested in Savard. Canucks have absolutely no reason to get savard. To me it just seems like a ploy to get more people checking his website...

Shirokov was actually our best prospect at last year camp. But regardless i agree, i think Hodgson is going to have a really strong camp this year. I also think Schroeder will have a strong one too, but i think he will be sent to the moose however.

Well i don't know anything about the contract but just speculating from that post. It sounds like that part of the contract is more for the player and not the SEL team. By that i mean is that if Rodin signs with the canucks and doesnt make it on the canucks next year, he can choose to go back to SEL instead of Canucks being able to assign him to the moose. It sounds like the SEL doesn't have any choice in the matter. But once again thats just basing off a informal translated article. Edit: But since you seem more informed than me, i will believe you

In the bottom link you gave, it says may return to the SEL team if doesn't make it to NHL (not sure if that is accurately translated). But if that's the case , that's not really much of a hurdle since I think he would rather be playing more ice time with the moose. Not to mention getting use to the NA game and working with canucks training staff etc.
