  1. great road trip eh?.....how's it going? your young gal says i should get you to set the image of her watching the gold metal game.....it sounds like she is not passive in her viewing seat.....do you have to restrain her when she gets too rowdy? i'm trying to picture you both, when someone scores......cheers people.

  2. glad to hear all is well......it hits home that tsnamis are not just something that can happen on the other side of the world. i think the real winners of that game was the viewers....game could have went either way.....kesler played great and demitra was picked for the all star team. hopefully they can carry their play into the rest of the season....i'm fine here and looking forward to canucks.

  3. hey joe! thanks, we're ok. a couple of small wave surges but that was about it. yeah, it was pretty scary though! wife and i saw the game too! incredible! too bad there had to be loser! congrats on the gold! and yeah, canucks on tuesday eh! i cant wait! the olympics were great but im ready for some canuck games! how have you been and hows van city?!!?

  4. hi buddy.....how is your homeland? did you guys get a scare? did you have to take any extra precautions? did you watch the hockey game? wow both teams played so well.....it is fitting the two best teams are from north america.....canucks soon. cheers from up north.

  5. yeah, i heard, really sad. condolences to his family. you should visit here now, a lots changed. our son plays baseball and basketball and our daughter does volleyball and gymnastics. just got done watching the game on nhl.com! great win for razor! enjoy the olympics!!!!

  6. luge driver died on the first day. he went off the track and smashed into metal posts.....a sad way to begin the olympics....i was last in your berg in 1962. are your kids into any sports? my son was but my grandson has no interest in any sports...he is a computer nerd and wants to follow that avenue after graduation...he is in grade 10. enjoy the game tonight.....cheers

  7. hey joe! yeah cost of living is pretty high here and yeah they spruced it up quite a bit. its cutting edge comsopolitan, like vancouver except its very hot! its changed quite a bit since you were here i imagine. my wife says hi and aloha back! great to know you to Joe! wife and i will be following the olympics on tv and the nucks on the internet.

  8. i always got drunk and left them somewhere.......is the cost of living quite high where you are? i live in smithers which is 900 miles north of vancouver, but i'm from vancouver....i hear it is pretty crazy down there. when i was in honolulu, i found it to be old and drab......have they spruced it up at all?.....say hi to your wife from me. it is great to know you......best of days.

  9. Joe, what happened to the bulls andthe grass skirt?! how come you never got them home? LOL. yeah, the water here is a beautiful blue unlike anywhere else. my wife and i have 2 kids, boy and girl, 11 and 10 years old. i work for Motorola in sales and she is a manager and one of the hotels in waikiki. we love hawaii, but we also love vancouver. how are things there with the olympics and all?

  10. i bought 3 ceramic bulls over my visits there, but never got one of them back to my ship. i also bought a grass skirt one time but again i never got it home. i was at midway....the albotros or goony birds as we called them were funny to watch.....the color of the water around midway if like none other i have ever seen. what do you do for a living and do you have kids?....cheers to you both.

  11. hey joe, that volcano is STILL erupting! LOL! we are the only state that is still growing! my wife and i watch the canuck games on nhl.com and when they play west coast teams we get to watch them on fox sports in hd. nothing like being at the garage though. during the season and until we win the cup or we get eliminated, the canuck flag flies high on our porch and on our family van.

  12. great story. i was in hawaii 4 times when i was in the navy but never made it out of nonolulu. i wish i would have toured the islands. there was a volcano eruption on one of the islands while we were there but the pubs kept me too busy to take it in....how do you watch the games? on your computer?....honored to be your friend.

  13. back home in hawaii and i already miss vancouver!!!

  14. aloha and thanks for the welcome. i havent been on for a while. my wife and i always stopped over in vancouver from snowboarding and one trip we decided to see a canucks game. we have been hooked ever since. we love your city and we love the canucks. we go up at least twice a year for games and we just got back last week. we were there for the 4 game homestand! all wins!!! it was awesome!

  15. wow, how does someone from hawaii become a canucks fan? boy we have people from all over the world as canuck's fans....welcome.
