I had said in other posts ..and just so it's clear- I well remember those years living in Edmonton through the Gretsky era. Now as a long time Lower mainland resident and a huge Canuck fan I see a ton of exciting things that make me think I may be seeing deja vu all over again ..less Gretz, mess and the boys here in Vancouver, in the form of a dynasty. We thought people hated us as fans before - I see it coming ... even with the parody in the league things are going to be real exciting for years to come. When you develop well in your system and have a GM that seems brilliant at times .. this is what you get. I like it.........

LA played a hell of a game ... forget the OT penalty and just look at how they played the entire game. Tough to get lines running smooth when penalty minutes take away from the last half of the regular game and not just Alberts to blame there were other penalties. Vancouvers defense looked good and so did Lou. Lots of missed shots that turned into a transition for LA. Add all that up and the line setup was not an issue ...just a couple more mistakes than LA at a crucial point in the game. Vancouver did not have a bad game ... we can play well and still loose the odd one -happens all the time in the playoffs. I can bet people are already concerned ...we don't need to sweep anyone so LA probably did us a favor winning Sat night. I'm feeling a lot better about this series now, and I was feeling real good coming in........

.... my favorite team - the Canadian Forces .... I've never served but I make sure to take time out to send greetings, on every holiday, to those deployed overseas. Good to have you home brother! Awesome blog .... gotta lov that Mom of ur's huh..
