can these guys damage the ps3 console by chance? or just wipe the info?

i played a game of mw2 and we could all jump like 50 feet in the air, everyone (but me) was doing those spin kills where they jump and spin and snipe you. it was crazy, guys were sniping each other with pistols from right up on the jesus statue. they even took my guns so all i could do was run and jump
