Trading starting to heat up with Bouwmeester and Regehr being traded.
Fed up of the never evering Luongo/Schneider saga. I really don't buy Gillis being in talks with multiple teams that is past "kicking tires" for Luongo. We've heard this before about mystery teams that were in talks/acquiring about Luongo before. Just BS he's putting out in hopes he drives up the market and price for Lui. Gillis mine as well do nothing at the deadline and call the season. Because the Canucks are one and done in the playoffs anyways. Interest in the Canucks is down with tickets being sold for less then face value. Speaks volumes about how bad this team really is. A house cleaning is needed. Montreal did it and they're looking pretty good. Ottawa a team with alot worst injuries keep finding a way to win.
People are talking about giving up raymond and a pick for a guy that has half as many goals as raymond ... but makes twice as much and is a 5 foot 9 center that hasn't been very good since 2009 ... great plan. Surely our offence will explode.
Roy has 4 more points than Raymond in 6 less games.
With the exception of last year, he has been a 60+ point pace player each season since 06/07.
Last I heard the twins were kickin' it with Burrows, apparently they bought a couple volcano vaporizers and they're just bake'n out and rocking some NHL 13 somewhere on Van island, you know, making up them dope plays
no thanks, marijuana smells awful and despite what people say it does have negative effects on health especially at a young age & i really dont want to smell that everytime i go outside. Cigarettes should be illegal only substance that is legal that is known to kill you and everyone else around you. such a joke its legal.
call me an old fuddy duddy but ill be the old man with all my brain cells and functioning lungs thank you very much.
Alcohol does not kill ?
Pot is the least of the worlds worries , I would be much more concerned with the prescription pills doctors can prescribe containing cocaine and heroine and all the people on the roads who are drinking driving then people who are relaxed and happy and giggly after smoking a blunt

47. The 2003 draft was held at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tennessee. There was speculation that the Canucks would take the son of Canuck executive Steve Tambellini, Jeff, who was from Port Moody. Even Kesler thought they would take Tambellini.
Gaylord entertainment center? LOL of all things to name a stadium why that?
A:"Dude, where are you going?"
B:"Gaylord Entertainment Center, wanna come along?"
I mean it is just so misleading! The first time I read it, I thought it was a gay strip club O.o
We now need to trade Luongo for a top six forward no question. But we can also dump Ballard, Raymond, and Alberts as well (maybe let Higgins and Malhotra walk if necessary at the end of the year) which would free up close to $10 million. Say Luongo is traded for a top six winger with say, a $5 million cap hit. Top six solidified. Then we can trade Ballard and Raymond for an extra $6,475,000 of cap space. When that's all said and done we would have $9,239,999 in cap space. Plenty of room.
