Honestly, I wouldn't want to tank until I KNEW Gillis wouldn't be the one controlling who the Canucks draft... He'll end up trading 1st round pick with Eddie Lack for a conditional 7th round pick in 2017 with the bloody Bruins...

Actually, the worst kind of fans are the ignorant ones who think they are the only team that matters and are the center of the universe and anyone who likes anyone else should be banished and flogged. And I have never hopped the wagon, I have endured the pitiful play of the Canucks, relished the amazing PT seasons, even though I had to endure the horrible end in the SCF / First round eliminations. I also will be enduring this pitiful gutwrenching loss. Hopping the wagon means no longer cheering for the team when they play bad, and if that was so, I wouldn't be so frustrated tonight.

No, I just am capable of loving 2 teams. I still have my clear favorite, but unless Canucks are playing the Leafs, you will never see me cheer against them, even to "tank" the season. Has been that way since I started watching hockey @ 4 yrs old.

Honestly, as a fan of both teams, this was equally sickening and depressing... SEVEN GOALS... Time to cry myself to sleep... (Equality, deleting only the post against the other team while allowing the flaming of another post to stay is quite shameful)

First I had to endure the Leafs 3 goal collapse in game 7 last year... Now this, SEVEN !@#$ing goals?! This is just.... sigh.... At least the Leafs managed to prevent this from being the sh*tiest of nights... Why are my favorite teams the ones who are always so goddamn depressing?...

Not what I expected for tonight... Was really hoping for OT, nucks badly need to gain some points here, but right out the gate they looked flat (discounting the penalty killing). I really hope they can pick it up after Sochi, I don't want to lose my playoff team in the west this year
