  1. As they say, once you're in the playoffs - anything can happen. Unless you're a Canucks fan, then you can see the future.
  2. Lu will start. Edler + prospect. Gillis has to realize that the grand UFA market era is pretty much gone. I'm still loyal to this team and root for them win or lose.
  3. Biggest difference in the video between now and then is that if Burrows got that kind of breakaway tonight, the crowd would be dead silent. Our arena is a graveyard.
  4. Maaaaan. Kesler has not won a single important game in his career. - Gold Medal 2010 Olympics - Game 7 2011 Finals - NHL Playoffs 2012,2013 - Semi-Final, Bronze Medal 2014 Olympics Not trying to bag on him, as he's a BRILLIANT player. But, seriously.
  5. seeing both my favourite teams (Nucks,Pens) swept away last year was very sobering. Winning isn't dependant on scoring.
  6. Gillis is too afraid to move anyone, which I think is bleeding into the mentality of the team. They all know they're safe, even if the play terribly. Gillis needs to move a big name or two and strike the fear into their hearts. Atleast that might get it pumping.
  7. I know I'm probably in the minority here, but this game actually rebuilt my confidence for this team. Down 2-0 in the first 7 minutes, and still manage to make it a game. This Winnipeg team has been playing GREAT recently, so I think there's something to take away from putting the pressure on them in their own barn. I still believe we need to get rid of a D-man for some Forward(s), but I'm a lot less "off with their heads" than I was this morning. (I actually cheered when we scored during the game; haven't done that in a while. A sign of hope?)
  8. 1-0 Jets. Lack plays brilliantly, but the team in front doesn't move their legs or shoot the puck on net.
  9. On our way to becoming Calgary: "Still a contender" - Calgary post-Finals: 4 first-round exits, 4 years of not qualifying. "Still a contender" - Vancouver post-Finals: 2 first-round exits......
  10. Here's why this is a REAL moral victory: 2 points. Unfortunately it was against Calgary so nobody was really impressed.
