TrevLinden16 here with a 12 year old's insight (mine) on day 1 of free agency for the Vancouver Canucks. I tried doing this in video form to post on my channel but its too awkward talking to myself in an empty room.
First up center Joel Perrault was signed on a 1 year deal worth $510,000. He played for the Coyotes last season but only in 2 games. The rest was spent in San Antonio (AHL) and the Swiss league. Expect him to be a 4th liner replacing Ryan Johnson or a 13th forward.
I know, only 20 minutes after the closing ceremony, I already miss the Olympics. I miss the good times, the bad times, the action, the suspense, the bond I had with the athletes. Thank you, Thank you IOC for bringing the Olympics to Vancouver. It has been an exciting experience for all and I am terribly sad to see it come to a close so fast. I have found passions with sports I have never thought I would like. I love this city.
