My Season/Playoff Predictions

I'm going to go all out and predict the final season standings, along with playoff match-ups, the winners and the losers of said playoff match-ups, and my predicted Stanley Cup winner and runner-up. My predictions are based on current streaks and plays, team injuries (key players being out), playoff history and my overall opinion.

Stanley Cup Finals
Washington Capitals V.S San Jose Sharks
WINNER: Washington Capitals
San Jose will bump their playoff slump and will actually do some damage. Joe Thornton will be a top player with Heatley being a top playoff performer. Pittsburgh and Washington will once again meet up, but the decision will go Ovy's way this season, Caps are way too powerful, especially with the great trade deadline deals that made them a better team. Vancouver will make it to the conference finals for the first time since 94, but San Jose will knock them out, purely on goaltending performance. I'm not saying Nabakov is better than Luongo. What I mean is in this predicted playoff series, Luongo will not play like he's suppose to, based on previous playoff performances. Canucks making Nabakov looking like a better goalie will be the case.
In the end, the Caps will outplay San Jose, due to Washington's scoring talent with Ovechkin, Backstrom and Semin. The Sharks defense and Nabakov will not be able to handle them.
