On the weekend of May 29-30th, Marty's Anglez will gather with other teams at UVIC, for the Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay. Marty the Marmot will join us for the opening and closing ceremonies. Our 24 Hour Relay team, Martyz Anglez is composed of Booster Club members, their families and friends. We are fundraisng to help disabled children to have by attending Easter Seals Camp Shawnigan.

Under brilliant sunshine this past Sunday (May 9), the Marty's Angelz held a highly successful car wash. It was held at the Canadian Tire, Admiral's location . The day before a bottle drive began. Our group now has a Bottle Depot account at the Glanford and Quadra locations. Should you have an oppurtunity to add to our bottle drive, please take your items to these Bottle Depot locations and ask that your total be added to the account named Marty's Angelz.

Are you an aspiring rock star or an up and coming diva? This Saturday, May 15th you have a chance to demonstrate your vocal skills at our team's 24 Hour Relay Soprano's karoke fundraiser. Time is from 5 to 9 pm. Come down for a fun night of song and good cheer. Tickets are $8, that will get you in, plus a burger and a beer. For those who do not want to sing, you can purchase a Do Not Sing button. You can pay to have someone without the button sing. There will be both a silent auction and door prizes. It sounds like it will be a fun night all in aid of a good cause.
