  1. This kids highlights are like watching the old road runner vs coyote cartoons. If the only thing he does for the Canucks is get Zone entries and make nice passes in the O zone their d will be significantly better. Think ... no more neutral ice drop pass to or from edler on the first unit pp.

Of course, we all know that the Mueller investigation has resulted in multiple charges to several people, while the Benghazi investigation found nothing, in spite of lasting longer.... ...but hey, don't let the facts stand in the way of the opportunity to post yet another stupid meme, in a weak attempt to defend Trump.

  8. Congrats to Mason Appleton on his NHL debut and 6.25 points including his 1st assist. Unfortunately we didn't start him tonight, but our other 2 way players have also showed up tonight. With 5 regulars out for the foreseeable future, Toronto will be looking to trade some forward depth for help on defense.

  11. This is more of a rant than a confession as I have no other outlet to vent on this situation. So, my wife and I moved to the Comox Valley in 2013, I ended up meeting one of my few buddies here on training for work at the time, which led to an invite on a fun beer league hockey team for my wife and I. The hockey is fun and a decent atmosphere overall, I just don't find a lot of fun in playing hockey anymore and now just go out to get a little cardio, my wife is a former University hockey player so she just loves the game and really enjoys playing on this team (I don't as much anymore, she

  12. November STUDS and DUDS STUDS 1. Matt Dumba - 78 Pool Points The Wild have, again, surprised everyone by finding themselves in playoff spot after American Thanksgiving. A big reason has been Dumba and his one timer on the PP. Looking forward to years of his booming shot. 2. Dustin Byfuglien - 75 Pool Points This seems to be a quiet year for Big Buff, as he’s not finding himself on the highlight reel as much. But he’s been the Jets most consistent defensemen this year, and on pace for his best year. His recent concussion is a little worrisome, but I

  14. I'll give that poor dead horse another kick in the ribs for good measure. Outside of Gaudette all of the young prospects play on the wing. The centers in Utica with the exception of Kero are all grinding plumbers. It is obvious that Dahlen and Lind cannot carry a line at this level and need a quality center to play with. Gadjovich and Palmu are a different story because they should both be in the ECHL adjusting to the North American pro game....I'm not sure how much they would even benefit by having a playmaker center next to them. The lack of centers to aid in the development

  15. yeah its one of the few things we agree on I do agree tho that she would make a better PM on a practical level. She has more of a get it done type of attitude and I think she'd be able to accomplish some social goals (e.g., wage equality) in ways that involved less public signaling over it. I think most people are OK with the things Trudeau has done on social policy when you look at the ideas individually, but there can often be something very annoying about how he presents it, even for me and I'll vote for him again.

  17. All you have to do is look at this comets roster and the statements made by Johnson over the summer and it's obvious Johnson is completely clueless...... Didn't wanna sign players better than the so called "prospects" . But some of the prospects are so bad , they don't even dress most games. I came into this season excited of the young talent but it's obvious that the Canucks do not have a clear handle on judging talent and development of said talent or how to even go about it. Basically Canuck ineptitude took over. It's also becoming clear that Cull is l

  18. Third line and limited minutes/role for Wise, versus first line and lots of minutes in all situations for Madden. So not really apples to apples to compare them purely on stats. That said, what Madden is doing is pretty remarkable. He’s stepped in as a freshman and thrived as a number one centre. Putting up really good totals, while also playing a solid two-way game. Northeastern has surprised this season. They weren’t picked to be all that great, especially with most of their key players graduating to pro, and having to rebuild the top of their roster. Yet they’ve clim

  25. There's an error on my roster - Foligno's note only shows retention for this season. Also, while you're in there, you can remove the conditional pick for Hamhuis, which was only for if he didn't play this year. @thejazz97 @Master Mind

  26. It has been the toughest stretch of the season for the Washington Capitals with Nylander still unsigned, Turris, Klingberg and Murray placed on IR and Andrew Copp out as well. In November our team was really starting to slide quickly finishing the month tied for 8th place in the Eastern Conference. We were stuck in the bottom 3rd in the league for the last week even. With very strong Eastern conference teams like New Jersey, Montreal, Detroit, Pittsburgh etc currently on the bubble sitting around and waiting was not and is not a viable option. I have made this mistake in the past. The East is

  27. November Review The Goods: Stamkos/McDonagh - Both guys produced well this month with 78 and 77 fpts respectively. This is what we need/expect from the two. We were also able to lock up McD to a long term deal this month! Ian Cole - Here is a guy who continues to play great in a top 4 role. Hits, Pims and chips in when needed. This is why we brought him back this season! Playing great! Elias Lindholm - Again being a leader on this team in fpts and as well as in this team, making us look really good for acquiring him! 33. So Dahlin won rookie of the month for November. 1G8A for 9 points in 15 games. Sabres won a lot of games and he was +10 in November. I guess EP was so-so in November: 6G6A for12 pts in 14 games With Boeser back, I think he should be back to his > 1 PPG self.

I was trying to access through an unsecured wifi at work but is working at home. Thanks again for your response.

  35. Pionk sure has produced since coming into the NHL; makes this a nerve wracking trade. But I finally made a deal for a forward using one of my extra Dman. Hoping Raddysh gets nhl games as soon as this year. Gildon will likely sign after this season if he continues scoring at a point per game in the NCAA as a Dman. Kase and McNabb both could make the playoffs this year, and both have underproduced their norms so far this season. Beauvillier - Barzal - Abdelkader Maroon - Jost - Kase Khaira - Rask - Duclair Nordstrom - Gagner - Noesen Dunn - Seve

  38. Analyzing the top 5 at LW, it seems like Conor has 2 options as a best chance to win. Poirier and Barboza who are both solid, stand up fighters. Poirier has come a long way since his first fight with Conor and I think it would be a very close fight. As for Edson, it's a toss up depending on which version of him shows up that night. All the remaining killers in the top 5 beat Conor 9/10 times.

  43. Depends how he progresses this year, but I'd expect him to spend two there before signing. Almost certain to end up in Utica first, but never know how they could blossom and how quickly. His growth spurt this last year while maintaining his speed and mobility have been a real positive.

  44. I wouldn't say you're off base at all. It's a real shame, because you and that other gentleman are both victims here because of your father's actions. I can see why he might desperately want to be in contact with you, but at the same time if you've already told him no several times then the onus is on him as an adult now to find ways to move on (therapy, etc.). You don't owe anyone your time or company because they're "family". You have to look out for yourself.
