Group think, focused on the fringes but not the meat and potatoes

The point I was making is that this person has the whole world out with pitch forks in the modern day equivalent to a lynch mob yet a broad spectrum of professional athletes who are established theoretically mature adults are given slaps on the wrist in comparison to Miller who is a human being like the rest of us. I find your dismissal and position hypocritical a hallmark of cancel culture. Without a critical thought given like the French Revolution we go off with their heads. Cancel culture shall remember history repeats and what happened to the leaders of the French Revolution after the old guard was pitched out so were they. The world in my mind needs more empathy and we can all be better less black or white and more grey.

I just don’t think it’s reasonable to cancel the guy permanently, if he’s taken steps to improve himself and learned from it which based on the reports of the agent he has then why not provide a chance for redemption? Obviously if there’s a single incident one strike your out. Growing up I was bullied it was awful I overcame it but the bully has to live with what they did. Most of the bully’s I had run ins with had screwed up home life’s with broken homes or addicted parents and frustrated with the world. Maybe I’m too empathetic a person.

Would you feel like that if someone killed your child? They never get an opportunity to live their life. Accident or not murder is murder and both bullying and driving impaired are supremely stupid choices. Socially I find it interesting why people are so much faster to permanently cancel someone for something that happened in their childhood.

Heatley and Mactavish committed criminal offences leading to people’s deaths and were allowed to resume their hockey careers. Mitchell lost a college scholarship and years of development. Should he be hung up in the street tarred feathered and stoned so the public can achieve eye for an eye? to be clear I think the guy has or atleast had serious character issues but I think cancelling children is over the top.

Devils advocate if a 14 year old murdered someone what jobs would they be ineligible for when they are 25 years old? Miller is or at atleast was a POS but what’s the extent of cancelling someone over something they did as a teenager. Is what he did worse than what any adult physically abusing a spouse/partner. Can you argue any of Evander Kane’s shenanigans as an adult aren’t on par with Miller’s douchebaggery?

The devils skates the Canucks out of the rink last night. They were all over us in all three zones no room to breathe. Good example of making the best use out of the talent you have. Hughes looked like he hadn’t played in a couple weeks actually disrupted the power play early in the game. Petey line was great probably should have been rewarded with a goal or two.

Hopefully Brock can come back soon at full strength. I sure envisioned out power play a few years ago to feature Brock where Miller sits and thought he would be wildly successful. Hopefully we still see some of that.

That you are still ripping on Benning nearly 12 months after his departure is sad I hope someone in your life loves you and the rain cloud over your head blows away and you can move forward. Team showed heart and step in the right direction. -
Weird stat line Gary Trent jr posted a 27-0-0 tonight you would think the rebound or assist would just come by accident

If you can locate it the redbreast 12 year is one of my all time favourite Irish whiskeys

Any chance of a temporary hot dog symbol -
The quickness off the back end is impressive. Could settle in as one of the play drivers on the offensive side of the puck which is very much needed right now.

The new crew identified we had issues on defence and then spent close to 5 million on a 3rd line forward. They totally missed the boat.
