There are 5 players picked outside the top 10 from the 2021 draft class that have made their NHL debut. Klimovich is developing just as he should and for a 2nd rounder is probably trending ahead of schedule.

GM has final say on any NHL team no use trying to push any other sort of an agenda. no on can argue that the first half of draft+1 has been good for this prospect it’s been below expectations for a first rounder. Up to the player to adjust he will be playing against bigger stronger players his whole career. If struggles bleed into next season there will be some alarm bells going off.

[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks
flat land fish replied to HOFsedins's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
I believe you are correct there -
To Philly: Miller OEL To Vancouver: Provorov Couturier Multiple players needing a change of scenery get it in an old fashioned blockbuster. Some minor additions or draft picks can get tagged on to balance the trade depending on your view point. Assuming Couturier is good to go moving forward solves Canucks defensive 2c problems and frees up additional move involving Horvat. Philly gets two sure things with more term committed.

With the contract structure can he burn a year from his ELC signing in March/April? Or earn some money by way of signing bonus that wouldn’t otherwise be available?
-
And did it against a quality dman in svozil.

Why don't the Canucks get lie-flat seats for their plane?
flat land fish replied to dougieL's topic in Canucks Talk
In the long run cost wouldn’t be a big factor as private jets planes don’t meaningfully depreciate the way other types of vehicles have. There would be more carrying costs than chartering all the time but no question more comfort could be had for the players. -
I worry that Hughes is this generations Phil Housley, great offensively but not strong enough defensively to contribute to winning hockey.

If he weren’t open about his depression I’d find full chuckle on this one. Okay I laughed but felt bad about it. -

And not as good defensively but probably more goal scoring upside. -
Success of Croatia and Morocco in the knockout phase really highlights the strength of the group Canada was plying in.
