  1. I think you are probably joking, but just in case... This is a really uninformed and quite idiotic response. If you think living in a cave and starving for periods of time as a hunter/gatherer, whilst avoiding wilder beasties, is ‘relatively easy’ maybe you should try it. I am sure you would do well with your superior math skills. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_painting
  2. Are you aware that there is a Dakota, Minnesota? If he’s talking about an entirely different state (North Dakota), he should be more specific. Also, I have never heard any news of N.Dakota dying for a NHL franchise.
  3. He’s from Burnsville, Minnesota. Grew up there, went to high school there and played hockey there. Nowhere close to Dakota.
  4. If we are so bored we accept this as news, what will it be like mid summer?
  5. He’s turning 29 tomorrow. I don’t consider that old. IMO he is still in the prime years, 33-34 is old. I can see the merit in both sides of this argument tho.
  6. If he plays for us, does he use a ‘bread’ stick?
  7. Yes, 20 years old, 10 points in 9 games, tied for 2nd on team Swede and 15th overall out of over 300 skaters. 1 year NHL experience. Yup I’d say that’s ‘wowing’.
  8. I looked thru all of my cable sports channels and on the interweb, and I could not find this new ‘Spots’net.
  9. Not sure if I should get involved in this sh#t show, but old news does have a valid point here.
  10. Raymond, Ballard and a first. Sorry couldn’t resist.
  11. Bunch of talking heads speculating, nothing of substance there.
  12. I believe Rob meant JV was not ready for ready for the NHL. Which is correct IMO.
  13. Brian Burke selected Umberger in the first-round, sixteenth overall in the 2001 draft. The two sides failed to come to terms on an entry-level contract and Burke dealt Umberger to the New York Rangers for Martin Rucinsky at the 2004 trade deadline. If it makes you feel any better, the Rangers were unable to come to terms with Umberger and were forced to deal him to the Philadelphia Flyers. That is, as we know, where he flourished.
  14. Sure glad we gave burrows, kesler, Hansen, etc time to develop instead of writing them off after their rookie year.
  15. I agree with the first part of your statement, but unless you have a crystal ball, you can’t know the bolded part for certain.
  16. You fit the profile. Old high school friend who lives in Japan. But, I’m sure you are a good guy too.
  17. So after reading this, he’s all good minor issue and will still play in worlds
  18. I don’t think anyone on CDC thinks we are set on defence, nor does JB based on his post season comments.
  19. Or perhaps management did not see the potential compared to bear or jake. But, hey they have way less hockey experience/knowledge than you. Which team do you work for again?
  20. Thanks guys, I am aware of Tomatoes trollhood. Just wanted to see if he/she would respond.
  21. You’re kidding right? Granlund is one of the most defensively responsible players, Bear was injured most of the season.
