  1. Not really, it's actually a win-win scenario. If Canucks make playoffs and win the cup then everyone is happy, but if Canucks miss playoffs and end up with a top 10 pick then many of us are happy. I for one hope we miss the playoffs and end up with a top 10 pick, beats going to the playoffs and losing.
  2. I just Luoooo'd a little by accident, going to be hard to stop after doing it for so long.
  3. This is one of the dumbest most ignorant comments I have seen on here. People can't just afford to pay 12-15k each year to go to Canucks games, especially if they live in Vancouver. There are things such as bills, taxes, insurance, mortgages, etc... I personally don't have an interest in getting Season Tickets because I would rather just go to 2-3 games a year only (haven't gone in 2 years). For you to say just cut back on luxuries or budget differently is stupid.
  4. 300- 7/10 The movie wasn't as good as I remembered it, but still enjoyed it. Going to watch the second film this week.
  5. Classic Canucks, they always get you excited and make you feel good but then break down and make you feel like crap. Could that happen tonight, maybe.
  6. If you actually understand Punjabi, it's even worse than the English broadcast.
  7. Well that's pretty dissapointing.
  8. I missed the first period and was 5 min late for the second, but my question is... Was there a "FIRE GILLIS!" Chant or no?
  9. At this point winning is only going to hurt us, I hope we lose in regulation. Then the Flames will only be 9 points behind and have a chance at overtaking us in the standings.
  10. How pissed off would you guys be if Canucks caught fire, made it to the playoffs, and got eliminated in the first round? I honestly fear that we will start win games all of a sudden and end up outside the top 10.
  11. LOL at the bitter people, Luongo is a beauty! The stuff he tweets is hilarious, also he wanted to go to Florida, it's not like he's upset by going there. I hope Luo doesn't stop tweeting, it's some golden stuff.
  12. Called it, I wanted some big deals but expected minor ones. I honestly am dissapointed with the outcome of today. I don't know who to be more frustrated with ownership or management?
  13. Yeah I'm watching TSN, just flip over during a commercial break or when I just want to take a little look at what's going on.
  14. Any player could get injured at any time, if Crosby was on the market then would his value be low because of the injuries he's suffered in the past? Also, Kesler has been 100% this season.
  15. Leave it to Sportsnet to s**t on Ryan Kesler and his trade value. The clown who's on SN Radio keeps saying that how he doesn't think Kesler can be a 100% player because he could get injured and he's played a lot of hockey. The idiot went on to say that he wouldn't deal any of the distant to present future and the guy on the line from the Toronto Sun said he agreed. All I'm saying is that where does Sportsnet hire these idiots, get some people who know hockey. They got PJ Stock on the panel for crying out loud and everytime I flip over real quick to see what's happening all I see are commercials.
  16. I feel like we will see a Kesler deal now and even possibly an Edler deal. Then in the off season a lot more players might be traded, who knows what MG is thinking but I would just deal Kes right now. I would still rather have Sutter over Matthias.
  17. Hockeycentral saying that they're not so sure that Kesler deal could be done by tomorrow. They're saying that there's a rumour which suggests the cap will only be going up to $68 million next season.
  18. Same problem, once you start what ever you are going to watch you just have to put the controller to the side and let the timer turn off the controller on it's own. That's the only way (which I know of) to keep watch Netflix and have the controller turn off. Also finally got around to joining PS Plus today, got my membership at Costco that have it for $45. Have yet to see what is available, but I can't wait to play Uncharted 3 (PS3) already downloaded Resogun on the PS4.
  19. There is no chance that we are getting Olli Maata + for Ryan Kesler, you guys can keep on dreaming. Your guys demands are way too high on a Kesler return, if we just keep holding on to him then there a couple of things that could happen... Kesler's play could fall off next season, he could leave once his contract is up, or he could get injured. With that being said there are also some positive things that could happen like Kesler going back to 2011 form, more teams trying to acquire him, or better players being offered in return. There is a huge risk in keeping Kesler but there could also be a huge payoff, I personally would rather we trade Kesler now than maybe at the draft. Mike Gillis has made a majority of his bad deals at the draft and history is likely to repeat itself if he waits until the draft once again.
  20. Don Cherry does not play around, he straight up said it like it is. This is why Don Cherry is a beauty!
  21. I'm actually shocked that they didn't celebrate the 2011 SCF Run..
  22. Kesler + Luongo to Pittsburgh is an interesting idea and I think it could work for the two sides. Van: Sutter, Fleury, Despres, 2015 1st Round Pick, 2014 3rd Round Pick Pitt: Kesler, Luongo Exact same deal as yours minus Bennett. I don't think Pittsburgh will trade him with everything else they're giving up, but maybe a lesser forward prospect could be added by them.
  23. That's just a bunch of BS they say just in case they don't win a cup. These minor goals don't really get you anywhere, there should only be one goal and that is to win the cup. Making the playoffs shouldn't be a goal, it should be something that the team knows they can do without it even having to be said. Look at teams like Toronto, there main goal was/is to make the playoffs then after they begin to focus on the cup.
  24. Are you blindly cheering for this team? If you OPEN your eyes and watch the games, you'll discover that since the 2011-2012 season started they have not played great hockey. In the 2011-2012 season they had a great start, but after that Bruins game they just started to fizzle and fail. In the 2013 season they were hot and cold, but it was a short season and had it been a full season we would have seen a lot of losing than winning. This season has been a downright disaster, every single season we have key injuries but this year since the team sucks you decide blame injuries heavily. Also, if you read what I wrote properly I said this team is HEADING in the direction of the Panthers with what is going between players and management, I did not directly compare the team on the ice to the Panthers. It hasn't been one bad year, it has been a composition of 3 bad years including this one. The goal is not to make the playoffs, the goal is to win the cup. We were 5 goals away in 2011 but blew our chance and were never the same since.
