  1. He ruptured his Achilles in the finals when he was not ready to play and everybody knew it.
  2. I didn't say that. My first words were that people did vote for them. They didn't just force their way into the government. It was a process over many years. Too much to sum up in one lousy paragraph. Can't admit I'm an expert on 1930s German politics.
  3. Apparently Varly is pretty close with Ilya Sorokin. I'm guessing Lehner was asking too much money.
  4. Seems like Panarin is all but going to the Islanders, however Columbus has made a last minute offer:
  5. Bob McKenzie reporting 5 years @ $6M per year, give or take $200k
  6. Seeing lots of chatter for Varlamov going to Islanders and trying to coerce Panarin to do the same.
  7. Definitely fair to say. I just wonder how people can believe to vote for him en masse if he is as horrible as he is in the public eye.
  8. Yes people did, however they did not win the election. Hitler only rose to power after becoming chancellor and inhereted the president position from Von Hindenburg. Chancellor is not an elected position, he was chosen by Von Hindenburg. Bolsonaro was elected democratically. Also comparing Bolsonaro to Hitler? You should know better
  9. I think, most people do not like Trudeau, and they are looking for reasons to ridicule him. I don't believe a fake video like this, is going to change any minds. Anybody who makes their political decisions based on 7 second twitter videos, probably already had in mind what they were going to do anyways.
  10. What do you call fascism, when the people want it? Then, is it bad? That is what democracy is for? Are you using that word too freely? But then again, it's all about perspective. I dunno. Random thoughts.
  11. I wouldn't say that. He is meek, but he is still respected by some. The only thing is those people are just as liberal as him.
  12. It's still funny. Trudeau is always trying so hard to be friends with everybody, he's like the little kid on the playground who got picked last for sports. Bolonsaro is a well known asshat so I'm not surprised he ignored him he's probably like who's this clown
  13. He has 3 years to grow. Cole Caufield was barely 5'6 150 last year and grew to 5'7 163 in one year. It's not impossible.
  14. Minnesota pre-free-agency roster Needless to say the stealth tank the last 3 years has been a success. Lots of good prospects ready to step up. Andersson, Puljujarvi (who will hopefully be traded out of Edmonton), Tippett, and Smith lead the way, while we used our spare picks and players to bolster the roster with misfit, yet productive players. Filip Forsberg - Sean Couturier - David Pastrnak Micheal Ferland - Ryan Dzingel - Phil Kessel Mikkel Boedker - Lias Andersson - Owen Tippett Magnus Paajarvi - Zach Sanford - Jesse Puljujarvi P.E. Bellemare Michal Kempny - Brandon Montour Olli Maatta - Johnny Boychuk Ty Smith - Michael Stone Josh Brown Semyon Varlamov Aaron Dell On the cusp: Jakob Nilsson, Sonny Milano, Vinni Lettieri, Jacob Middleton While this roster may not be elite, yet, Mike Richards' contract will expire next year, giving us even more room to bolster the line up. Forsberg and Pastrnak both had injury plagued years, especially Forsberg who saw a large drop on production. We expect nothing less than playoffs next year. Even though it may seem like our roster is full, we intend to add at least another middle 6 forward and bottom 4 D in free agency.
  15. I doubt Vegas wants to trade him to a division rival. Also he went for cheaper because Vegas is cap strapped.
  16. Ian MacIntyre and Rick Dahliwal are my go-to guys on twitter for Canucks stuff.
  17. He was drafted 104th overall by Waterloo in the USHL futures draft. There is a chance he plays hockey in North America very soon.
  18. Mostly new AHL clubs consist of ECHL players and CHL players looking to graduate, as well as any prospects or players Seattle gets from the drafts and trading. It's a lot easier to fill out an AHL squad than the NHL.
